I have the hot side on the drivers side so that’s why I needed to notch the crossmember. Having it on the passenger side would require no cutting. I’ll be running the full core radiator along with P/S.
with the FULL RACE traction bar you DO NOT lose any ground clearance. you have tow hooks that hang just as low so its the same… unless you remove the stock tow hooks and slam the car.

had a friend of mine knoch, box and weld my crossmember. and the results are amazing, it handles and it is a lot stiffer than factory specially after the poly bushings.

But that was about what was originally planned. But since I modified the DP, I now have a lot more clearance so the notch is way smaller! Mine was modified while still on the car, did not want to remove it due to a bad past experience!

well with mine the first one that i modified got Fk’d so when i got another one and I had it modified and put the bushing in the front it was ;like heaven. it was a lot more than originally planed but we didn’t want o have to redo it in case the car was to be turbo ed later.
