Suppliers say those are the only bushings they have and that they arent supposed to fit inside the holes … I couldn’t get the bracket over the bushings because they were sticking out …so I made the holes a lil bigger to get the bushings to sit flush with the bar.
Well the rear sway bar gives a whole new feel…eventually I think ill pick up the st front bar as well
Here’s my junkyard armrest. It was blue so i painted it with duplicolor vinyl / plastic paint. Had the interior shop up the street hook me up and wrap some of my leftover material from my headliner . They used a new piece of foam as well so its nice and squishy.
Once i had it in place I used self tapping screws to mount it.
Finally installed the a.c. belt and tensioner …luckily it was still charged up from about two years ago. Good sign for no leaks!.. it cools fairly well about 45-50 degrees …ill see how well it performs when its 90-100 degrees outside this summer.
The system is meant for r-12 but has been converted to r134 before I bought it. I have heard it will perform better with the correct freon but I dont want to mess with it until I have to
Slowly gathering my suspension parts. I want to try and do as much as I can at the same time so I dont have to keep taking stuff apart just to go back and mess with it again
Bought an es master bushing kit to go along with the other poly bushings ive already installed
Gonna pick up lower ball joints as well…the boots are trashed
I bought a pair of moog adjustable upper ball joints. I don’t know if they work for me though. The adjustment part on top sits up higher than the stock upper ball joint and im already contacting the strut tower when i hit hard bumps.
