Cutting the grill is the WORST thing I have ever done to my 92-93 bumper. You will regret it.

Redline, how did you get rid of the license plate holes in the front? Is there a stock insert for it or did you do some body work to it? And your car is pimp by the way.
I’m going to try to put the intercooler behind the grill to hide it better. But most people just cut it out.
I wish that I could’ve kept my grill. But with the size of the FMIC, I even had to get the bumper support beam cut aswell. I hated that fact. But with great accomplishments you need great sacrifices too. (sp?)
I also had no room behind the bumper because I kept my A/C and Power Steering. It was a mission.

My Car isn’t even turbo but I cut it out and put black mesh grill in and it looks TIGHT!
I have an intercooler but, I like the clean un-riced look. Having your bumper grill all cut up looks retarted IMHO. Mesh, that was kinda cool back in the F&F days… :vomit: If you guys think that looks good, more power to ya. This is not directed at redline’s car, it is very nice. I just think it would look nicer with a uncut bumper.
Redline, I just noticed your car is a 4-door. Is there any particular reason why you chose the 4-door?

Blackknight…LOL. I chose the 4 door because she was sitting in a shopping center lot for like a month and also because I have 2 kids and believe me it is sooo much easier to let them in and out with out moving the driver seat…LOL

There are nice clean ways to cut a bumper so that the FMIC can be seen and it can get enouph air. In my case, it came out ok.

My grill is cut. No way not to cut it and fit the intercooler behind it. It’s 3.5" thick so it’s already touching the hood latch support beam and the front bumper cover.
