This is my first DA and first project car. Had few Hondas in past - three 96’ civics coupe ( one was d16y7 turbo ) then CRX ( my first VTEC ) then EF civic which is my daily drive this days and last was DC5 which I sold just to buy DA6 XSi project…
As this is my 1st project in May I will send her out for body restoration to the chap from CRX forum

Welcome, glad to see you post up around here. im on the lookout for a clean rear QP and theres lots of other great members around here that could most likely source one for you if you posted up in the WTB section. Ship is gonna suck on that one but if you game, im down to box it up and ship it!!

just signing up for imageshack and hopefully this eve will get some pics here.
what i though is - instead of sourcing rear quarters and ship them form us - spend this money on welding and getting those arches custom made by this CRX chap - Aaran.
He gave me quote for around 2.5k for all welding and re spray car with engine bay and inside so not too bad. He is quite busy but in mid 2013 he will take on my project :dance:
This Root beer looks cool but at this stage what i want is 17’’ XXR 527 on my car as i love this alloys and might be buying them soon as this wheels might stick out a bit which then give Aaran some ideas for my arches
Went through car history papers and chap was often changing rear bushes ( will check which ones exactly ).

just bought this one from ebay: DA5 1991 RXi with 1.6 PGFMI SOHC ZC
so now don’t know what to do as i don’t brake Hondas but selling bits in uk could give me head start with project… red one need full re spray as well and rear arches are better condition, she have air con - which is missing in black one, original stereo etc etc
have not seen car yet so just asking what could be best way to get my DA project going without upsetting too many DA owners:
take arches from red one and bits i want and sell rest ?!
move engine from black to red one and brake black one ?!
in perfect world i would love to keep both but ££££ might be the case to brake one to finish other one. was thinking to boost sohc and put in to my ef but at the moment want to focus on getting DA on road. will see if i will get any interest in parts. if not - will try to sort my life with all three beautiful ladies - 2 DAs and EF civic
ok i had though what to do… already had colour chosen for DA6 will stay N/A with B16 and at this stage will focus on her. i will put her on road and use maybe for japfest etc
DA5 will have to wait and defo will be planning to boost ZC engine will do some reading and see if this is good plan
ok guys. have been busy a bit doing my detailing course and organizing things to get my ‘business’ started. did not have time for my girls until now. strip down almost whole interior because I want to be resprayed. tomorrow i will unplug rear lights and will take all bits off ready for painting preparation. will have dry storage in few weeks for my detailing practice and for DA6 so will take engine out and try to wire tuck what i can to get clean look under the bonnet. will upload some pics in mid week as my internet is bit slow this days, blody BT…
