Great news to you dfwblackls! As far as for me, I just sent my payment to JDP engineering for my OE1 92-93 carbon fiber front lip, just got my amber front bumper turn signals last friday and my 92-93 front bumper & factory wing is in the paint shop as we speak. I should have everything on the Teg by this coming friday!
Now all I need is some clean looking side skirts to make my car look somewhat stock looking. I guess I’m bowing down to that “California standard trend”, but the look will make my car look more mature for my age.

Monthly news: For the first time in over a year… I will actually have my G2 out!!! Unless it decides it doesn’t like and kills itself… but it is parked outside of my Euless apartment instead of my mom’s house in GP…

Jim, the pics are being worked on. I will bring them to the meet. I want to keep them big so you don’t lose any resolution. I did some artsy stuff to them. You know, flowers and stars along the side of the car. J/K.

Yeah, kinda odd to own a 3rd gen Teg and a VW Bug, and have every sought after 2nd gen piece, but dont own a one. I got to pull teeth to get that arm rest and 1 piece head lights off of him. :umno:

Ok guys last time i could not make it cause my wife’s granfather died so suddenly, this time i’m go no if or ands. I got some pixs of my 7th g2, my db2. Keep in mind i’m not rich so its not perfect nor complete.

I very rarely see any G-2’s in my town which is Keller but I’m willing to come all the way out there and meet up with other G-2 owners. Even if mines fixed or not, Ill be there.

You people have nothing to worry about… my G2 will make you feel better… no paint on the mirrors and my clear coat is coming off on the roof… but I still love the car.
Come to think of it… none of the regulars (or semiregulars) cars are perfect… operator’s is probably the closest… but he has put a lot of TLC to keep his pretty…
As for how big it is… may not be worth coming up from SA unless you have other business here… usually 3-4 cars… maybe this time will be different… seems like a lot more interest…

[SIZE=“2”][B][I]Justin of Redline Per4mance is a DA owner and is the one that sells parts from a salvaged ‘93 GS. He attended his first meet two months ago and was disappointed of that months low attendance. Talked bad about it I suppose and I dont expect him to return.
It does not matter if its 4 G2s or 40, we are here to support everybody and keep the G2 meet going. Please, if you are interested in coming out, forget about how many G2s are going to be there. We have alot to talk about and share.
If you know anybody that owns a G2 and are interested in such, bring em’ out, meet new friends and lets make this North Texas G2 thing BIG for ourselves.

…and I will be getting with a DA owner in the neighborhood that I found as well as hitting up DI.net to send the word out on the meet.
Just about every other G2 that I have seen I either wave at them when I am in mine or throw up two fingers for the whole 2nd generation thing, but they don’t seem to wave back or really do anything. They probably think I’m crazy or something!
I still do it though.
Hopefully the people that say they are going to be there this time around will be there, I am going to be there. I have never been to a car meet where its just a meet of one type of car especially the car I have! I hope that over time a whole lot more then just two or three will show up.
