:lol: Now in hind sight… I probably won’t be doing a whole lot to the teg… as I am now looking in a different direction for a “toy” car… I don’t know how successful I will be in doing so, but I have got my eyes on a car from my past to maybe buy again… and if I do that, I will be making the Teg my daily driver/work vehicle… and the “toy” will have a spot reserved in my garage.

My father and I are thinking of buying back the 442 we sold a few years back, and restore it. I am going to have to pull some pics of it and its convertible sister we finished restoring in the 90’s for the next meet.

I loved my Prelude more than any car I have owned… the car made me smile EVERY time I got in it… so I am thinking about getting another 99+ Honda Prelude in the same color of red…
So thats the car you were telling us about. Hard to believe you got out of that ok.
I drive, on my way to work, with a same gen prelude as that one. (Its got a vtec sticker on it, but not sure if its actually got the engine in it)
Its that grey with a tinge of purple in it, factory color.
If that car is actually a 5th gen, then it has to be VTEC… all 5G in the US were VTEC… H22A4…

I know little about preludes, other than the “all wheel steering” and things of that nature that you might catch as an occasional (read ~ every 6 months I pick one up) reader of an auto magazine. If I found it interesting, I would go find it online.
$WS was really cool… it was more cool to me in the #g Preludes because it was purely mechanical… in the 4Gs, they weren’t to a computer controlled set up that was great, but had quirks.
What I think I want is a Type SH (super handling). It has the ATTS (active torque transfer system) that acts as a LSD in most turns at speed but lets the diff act open in slow turns and such…
hey fella’s just found this thread…was refered to me by operator and i think i will be making it out for the next meet…i got a 93 LS-S. Not really the most decked out car but you know and im deathly in love with my G2. Never gettin rid of it. Already told the g/f if we get married that there will be a spot in the garage for my G2 and other car so either shes parkin outside or better hope we get a 3 car garage haha. I rarely see any G2s around. I’m at street races all the time in Dallas.

maybe when i go ya’ll can help me figure out why my car sounds funny…i think my catalytic converter is out but im not sure…im runnin header and cat and thats it…we’ll see when the time comes
