drag turbo into my b18a1

i have a stock b18a1 engine but will be getting a drag turbo kit i wanted to know hat else to add to make it even more powerful at the track and on the street

stickers… do u just have a lot of money laying around to throw into a car or what?

Don’t use the Drag Turbo Manifold because it only reliefs boost pressure from the #1 cyclinder get one with the wastegate in the middle to relief pressure from all cyclinders so that it give even cyclinder wear.

get bigger injectors and run a 3bar map sensor. Get the car tuned for around 300whp…no matter how much boost it takes. Then roll around on the street at a lower boost level like 8lbs.

450cc or bigger injectors.
255 High Pressure Walboro Fuel Pump (InTank)
ARP Head Bolts and Studs.
New Clutch.
New Head Gasket. Stock is fine or Thicker. If you motor is over 100,000 miles.
Chrome Tunning.

With CHROME, All you need is to Chip you ECU and it will control everything. No FMU or Missing Link needed. Tunning is the key for good power.

I have the same set up and I am loving it. 210 WHP at 8 LBS. I just need a New Clutch and I will be boosting her up to like 13lbs for fun nights.

Be safe and hope all go’s well with your build.

Not to be rude but with that type of question, I was extremely surprised at the type replies everyone left…well spitfire3355 was what I was kinda expecting. You should join some other automotive-enthusiast sites real quick and post the question again word for word.

Outta curiosty, how much miles you got on the engine? If the engine is still running strong, you get the parts the other guys mentioned but still have stock internals…I wouldn’t push more than 8-10psi max. Just be careful, 9 outta 10 people blow something after boosting for the first time.

hard statistical data please.

make sure the engine you are turboing has had a recent tune up an no other issues that could bite you in the ass later.
