I couldn’t tell you cause I am still hunting one to buy as well, but here is the one I was looking at. It comes with fuel and engine management, which you will most likely need. plus if you buy it soon from this site they will give you a 300 dollar discount and you can make payments on it, If thats you kinda thing.
ya the kit i was asking about has better parts than the one u showed and is cheaper. tail waist gate one of the best has a fuel pump a polished turbo. u can pick a t04e s / trim v / 57 trim / or 60 with this kit. chrome piping blitz blowoff. and is cheaper + in my book $2600 shipped
I have a 93 Integra LS with a GSR Swap in it… all the bolt ons, fuel pump, everything… I recently ordered a drag kit from Pro Tech Performance in Austin… They had everything together and claimed that the downpipe wouldn’t work or wouldn’t fit correctly, so they had to take it all off and put my car back together without it… Thus I lost some money, and was extremely frustrated… Does anyone know what the deal is with this kit, and why it wouldn’t fit… Its so annoying
ive heard to many bad things about protech. if you still have the kit call drag and make sure its the right kit. my friend went to them to get power slot slotted rotors for his maxima took 3 weeks and they werent even for a maxima. he also tryed to get them to give him a price on some custom exhaust work. the guy he talked to said he didnt handle prices on that and routed his call to the guys that do the work, they said they didnt handle that and sent him back to the first guy he talked to.and it went on and on like that for almost an hour. if you still have the kit, try some other shops.
thats funny because they have done a lot of stuff on my car and it always takes forever, thats why from now on I am sticking local and just doing stuff at Deepstage… They always give me good deals and do good work from what I have seen, and they don’t take forever
Import Auto Center, my friend works there, they are very good and can pretty much do anything besides tuning and alignments. right now there looking to a sr20 swap into a later model 240 sx. the number is 512-837-6335. and they get the work done pretty fast, cept for when there backed up
actually import auto center is a good shop. its the only shop that will ever lay a finger on my car. if my car broke down 200 miles away it will get towed to that shop…
the drag manifold and the IC and IC pipe are the only downsides to that kit. The manifold kreeps and the piping is 2". it is complete bolton though, find another kit the is completely BOLT ON. there isn’t any other bolt on kit for the DA. the crossmember is a bitch.
i had a drag kit my teg before i sold it, all i can say is it was waste of money… i never got to boost right, the only good thing about that kit is the turbo… if i could go back i would have never gotten a drag kit i would have gone with a custom kit… but before i sold me teg i was boost 12psi lol… kicked ass
