thats a great point. I’m glad you found that out for us. In light of that I guess we will need to eat first so how about we plan on meeting in that parking lot with the restaruant and the gas pumps at 1pm instead… That way everyone can grab some lunch on the way up in a nearby town.

I just got back from up there a couple weeks ago. road is open and clean, but the police are working it. Deals will be closed by the time you guys get over there, so gas up before you head in.

huh well thats funny. im not popular enough to have a full inbox. haha. anyway im down for meeting where ever. not sure where the skeet club area is. im not too too familiar with the area. i say everybody eat and gas up before they get to the dragon. I still say we stick with original plan and meet at the Deal’s Gap Motorcycle resort which is also called The Dragon. its the little wooden lodge with gas pumps outside of it that will be closed and so it would be empty and i think that would be the easiest place to meet but im down for whatever. this is a picture of the place i am talkin about coming from your side. its on the corner of US129 and NC28. I am saying all of this just to make sure everybody is on the same page. haha.

For those of you with walkie talkies I will be using chanel 2. Just turn to chanel 2 and ask for Aaron or G2White. I will also have my cell (919-602-0530), but it doesnt work at the dragon, and nearby areas.

i finally got my teg running a little better an d with the change for a new O2 sensor my gas mileage has improved a little, but i’m still interested on wanting to make the run to the gap. My only question is… did anyone check the news for the condition of the roads at the gap to see if the snow has melted and to now if it is safe to make the trip up there, because i don’t want to get stuck up there or on the way there.
havent checked on the roads yet, I was waiting till a it was a little closer to check, but yeah, I don’t wanna get stuck either.
I’ll let you know once I figure anything out.
Well, I hate to say it, but I will be unable to make it out there to the meet.
I wish I could drive out there, but due to the lack of funds, I am unable to make it. Mabie next year.
I think of we had scheduled this meet for this weekend the roads would be a problem. i dont think though that next weekend will be. lucky for you guys I am the one who gets to try out the dragon first, so if you are worried about the conditions ill let ya’ll know how it is when I get there or by walkie talkie
