Try researching state laws before posting. All states require front amber reflector (that is why ALL cars come with them, otherwise DOT won’t approve). Front turn signals can flash either white or amber.

I was in an accident and need a new drivers side headlight assembly and i dont want to install jdm 1 pieces or spend 250 for one usdm assembly.
Please get back as soon as possible the cars in the shop now…
What bulbs do they use etc etc. Im lost when it comes to different bulb types.
I have done plenty of research…why would I pull this out of thin air. Get in your car today, drive down the street and tell me every factory headlight assembly you see has amber reflectors built in!! THEY DO NOT-for example ford focus…lexus. They have them in the bumper…not the headlight assembly.
Wow…it doesn’t matter if its in the headlight or not.
There will always be an amber reflector in the front required regardless if its in the headlight or bumper. :roll:
Also WHERE did I say they had to be in the headlight.
These Lexus’s have them in their headlight.
Gotcha…as pertains to this post it does matter if they are in the “headlight assembly” because that is exactly what we are talking about…and thats exactly what I posted. Again…he was asking what is legal to have on/in the assembly…not what color bulbs have to flash, or the whole front end of the vehicle. The lexus pic you posted indeed has them…and this one below DOES NOT… I believe you may be trying to twist this thread into a knot and go way off topic so I rest my case…ok.
I am not twisting anything. I am SIMPLY stating that ALL CARS require an amber reflector whether or not it is in the headlight or bumper since you said this.
Most states do not require an amber reflector, but they require that your directional signals be Amber (change bulb).
In which you made a general statement saying most states do not require an amber reflector.
Go back and read what you wrote before trying to debate a law with me.

if you want to go with the usdm 3pc look, there are some used sets on ebay.
these ebay headlights install no different than your regular headlights and require the removal of the bumper.
Bacardi you think the ebaydm headlights are ricey?
I’m just gonna order a pair now I need them by the weekend, black housing. Better than payin almost 300 for a new usdm assembly, screw used.

Yeah, I’m only a fan of 3 pieces and JDM 1 pieces…the ebay ones work on select cars but the projectors, not at all.
please post a pic of them on ur car. please tell me urs is black. lol. i have been debating those for a year and even tried photoshopping them in but still cant decide and i never see DA’s rollin around with them.
Last night I changed my mind about fifty times until i finally decided to go with jdm one pieces. Ordered them from extremejdm…(shady as hell).
But i really had nothing to lose since i dont have any headlights as of right now.

Hi! I have a pair of ebay aftermarket headlights in my car, one piece black… I just don´t know how to adjust the height where the beam shows, if you can understand my bad english… They show now way too high, I should get them showing light to lower. I think I haven´t had any electrical motor adjustment even in stock headlights, so the adjustment should be manually done, I suppose. Anyone have any ideas or had the same problem? I think they are quite the same in all aftermarket lights, but how is it done, I wonder…
