I put 9007 HID’s in my headlights (same as above) and the light output was FAR to bright. It lit up everything infront of the car at every angle. super noticeably illegal… Almost got pulled over for it to. No matter how long you try to angle them it just wont do anything.
I then put the 9004s back in. With 9004 HIDs they are bright and its not as blinding as the 9007s and angleable. Still a very messy light output, but you can see.
Nope… The ballast worked on 9004 and 9007 so I sold the 9004 HID kit to someone? and gave the 9007 bulbs to someone? i cant remember who got what… It was awhile ago.
I’ve had these for a couple years now…I’ve had no trouble with not having an amber corner. heres a video and pics…Some with the projector retrofit…some without.
The wheels are 15" steelies with a painted silver lip and the other set is rsx wheels. Hid kit is Hooooorible with these headlights…even the regular halogen bulb’s scatter light and leave dark and “hot” spots. It was so annoying it came down to switching to jdm one pieces. After purchasing a set of jdm one pieces, it didnt fulfil my needs so i just retrofitted the ebay lights. Light scatter issue solved…and then some. If your thinking about getting these lights, think about hid retrofit as well or at least hid’s with glare guards(someones posted a DIY on this thread somewhere which i thought was pretty smart).

Btw, thanx for the comments![/QUOTE]
did the hid kit light up the road more than just the standard halogen bulb?
yeah i was talking about the rsx wheels. how much trouble was it change to 5 lug?
they look great on the teg.
Ok… My best friend has 9004 HIDs in 6000K on his DA with these headlights… I took some comparison shots.
With my JDM 1 pieces, Which are Nokya bulbs I can see very well at night. It’s not BRIGHT bright but good enough to where i can see everywhere i need to go.
The parking lot was will lit so you can barely see my headlights are on, The HIDs in the ebay lights are extremely bright on the ground.

You can see how much glare are on them.

both of them are still way better than the oem lighting
I have a couple questions about these lights. I have my set already and looking at them I noticed a problem. There are only three holes for light bulbs, the fogs, high/low beams, and one corner bulb. So what did you guys do with the extra bulb? Just tuck it behind the light?
Also I installed 9007 sylvania bulbs into them and I switched the red and black wires like the article about converting from 9004 to 9007 said to. That is a necessary step, correct? I assume the harness isn’t actually plug and play for 9007 bulbs like the ad on ebay says. Do I have to switch the wires? Or should I switch them back the way they came?
I put my set on today and light output is way better than stock lights. I’m not sure if its because of the 9007s or if its just the clear lense but I’m happy. The only thing is on the outside of both lights a gap lets light straight through out the sides. Its coming directly from the bulb not the reflector. There’s just a gap. Anyone else have that issue? I just know I’m gonna get pulled over the first time that beam of light blasts a cop in the face . I’ll probably take them apart and add material to that cap so there’s not a gap to let that happen, especially on the driver side. I was just curious if everyone else had the same experience?
Everyone does… I blinded many cops. Never got pulled over though, Came VERY close when i had 9007 HIDs though. He was going to pull me over but he was to slow and i flipped a U turn.
ive been pulled over by a cop here before i was behind him with my crappy 1pc ebay headlights and he pulled me over and was like your headlights are bright i thought you were a drunk driver… which i cant see anything hardly.
