They have the same black backing but instead of the lense being clear it is smoke. And nice teg btw. I’m feelin the wheels

installed mine today… had em for over a year sitting in my garage… 1 pc black housing amber corner reflector.
never really was a fan of ebay 1-pieces… until i saw these
clear ones w/o amber inserts from far almost look like authentic 1-pieces
I did the projector retrofit with the clear ones like shown above^
Looks ok, next time though I want to retrofit the JDM 1-pieces.
if you do jdm 1 piece, the light out put wont be good as this one. i have the same light as you but black housing,with retro fit. i freaking love it.
Yeah if I were to do the JDM 1 piece, I’d sand down the flutes so the lens is clear so the light output isn’t scattered as much.
what projectors did you use to retro, promccown.
Got the whole kit from www.theretrofitsource.com, I got the morimoto H1 kit from them. Morimoto mini projectors, ballasts, bulbs, wiring harness.
Nice! I was looking at the Mini too for its plug N play with little cutting. Thanks man. Even though people say the output of the Mini is average I think over the halogen its much better.

No the light output is awesome, it’s the one pieces that I’d like to do better on haha. It was great to test and use for a first time thing. Now that I’ve done the retrofit I’d rather do it in something that’s authentic. But I’ll be sticking with these until something breaks or the lens turns all nasty, I hear these things start deteriorating after a while.
I’ve had this set up for a few weeks already, haven’t wired up the fogs yet. I also got leds from superbrightleds for the corner lights. Looks good at night, they color match (HIDs are 4300k). The LEDs are the WLED-WHP5 Natural White.
All it’s missing are the fogs, need to get on that asap.
WAY better than halogen, wish I had taken before and after pics haha. Only thing I had to cut was was the reflector bowl to fit the bixenon projector, and shrouds to fit inside. Not a whole lot of room to mount stuff in the engine bay. I have one of those short ram intakes so it gave me room to mount the ballast and relay where the stock air filter box is.
The only car I’ve came across with better projectos is the TSX which was lastnight. TSX was beside me and his projectors shot father and wider than mine.
looks good man. for the fog light i would go PIAA cause they are just better IMO. the LED corner light are crazy bright!! lol

There SMD’s which I guess are bigger than regular LED’s. And since there are 5, one on each side, and one on the top of it, the light shoots in every direction instead of just one so you get the most light output that way haha. Doesn’t look that cool during the day, they looks like lit up dice lol but I don’t run my lights during the day anyway so it’s all good.
