ebay kits, ssautochrome, xs power, stone mountain racing

any one know about a company called emusa or fat boy garage products?

I have that MAXIMUM BOOST book by corky bell… Its a good read guys. Its a little dated but it gives you the basics and beyond.

i have been buying everything separately its better in the long run

Guys I brought my turbo kit almost complete for 500 off the street and it came with everything i needed , but the turbo was beat and seals were blown so i sent it out to get rebuilt by garret and better specs and just had to buy a few new things because everything looked like trash. But i rather buy name brand off the street or local then a ebay kit that some people have them last and some dont. I rather know mine will last because its built right and not half ass stuff.

Ive heard some people sayin that there ebaykits lasted awhile.

i’m looking for reviews on this turbonetics kit!!! PLZ AND THX!!!

^^ Looks like a basic ebay kit with a brand name turbo.

I would seriously suggest piecing a kit together with brand name parts… like Mishimoto

Good luck with the build!

i would listen to the guys that say dont buy the kits there junk. im new to the turbo but i have been reading for the past two weeks on turbos and how they work and whats the best way to go and the kits are only going to be useful if u want piping. like many have said get all the parts seperate from real companies and do not i repeat do not buy a turbo kit from ebay just cause a few people have had no problems. like one of the other guys said most of us are new to this and dont need to waist r money on junk it is always better to buy the good stuff when it come s to ur motor the only things i get off ebay is seats strut bars and a couple other things that wont hurt me if they mess up. if u buy a kit and the welds suck r its not balanced correctly ur most likely going to find pieces of ur engine scattered down the road when u go threw the rpms might not be right after u install it r 6 months for that matter but it will happen.

well what kind of turbo/manifold/bov/wastegate/downpipe that would all work together with a good intercooler/piping kit would you suggest?

xs turbo kits

If your new to building your turbo car, please read up on what your buying before you do it. Im still building my car and I have the xs power turbo kit but wasnt gonna take a chance on there manifold so I put on a blox cast manifold. If I was to do it all over again I would of pieced it all together, shit with all the extra shit I bought I could have got a garrett turbo, blox mani, tial wastgate, tial bov instead of the xs turbo kit. I almost said screw the xs turbo and was gonna replace it with a garret but I thought I might as well spend the money on Hondata and see how long the turbo lasts. And Im def going to replace the wastegate for a tial. So ya If you do have the xs power turbo at least replace the manifold and get a good tune! I also just found out that glowshifts wideband gauge has datalogging now(0-5V OUTPUT) and also has the narrowband (0-1V) output so you can run it for both wideband/narowband just like the PLX wideband. But I dont see spending 200.00 for glowshift when PLX is only 40.00 more for a trusted name brand product…

summing up everything said here.

what u guys think of this one?

I got a JDM Sport kit from Ebay. The only problem I had with the kit in the last 2 years is a cracked manifold. I now have a ram horn style!
