+1 on the jigsaw. I used a cut-off wheel and the line isn’t as striaght as it could be. A jigsaw will give you a straighter edge. I also made an endcap for mine with the original trimmed end and duramix 4240. I don’t have any pics right now though.
I’d like to see some pics of your sides along with the end caps.
these are aftermarket mugen replicas but EK none the less
TWIZIDY- here you go. No shots on the car but here they are nonetheless. I’m comparing them to stock uncut EK sides in the pics.
The front endcap, still needs some smoothing along that edge, and the whole line that meets up to the side of the car needs to be cleaned up.
rollinmyDA - what “paste” did you use to mend the end caps to the side skirts? Name of it and where did you get it from… thanks!
Its duramix 4240. Made by 3m. I had to buy it online because I couldn’t find it in stores. Like $50 a bottle though… pretty expensive. I used the original trimmed off plastic to make the new cap.

them skirts look clean on the DA…Any more pics??
fragment have you sold any of the side skirts. i live near sac and could meet up. thanks
Anyone know about these skirts fitting on a 4 door teg???
here are some more i picked the ones that have a good view of the skirts
sorry it took so long
Anybody have the ek sides on a db1?
so what would be a good skirt us on a 2door rs
exactly which is easiest to do nd what exactly do i do to fit them i have a set of dc side skirts
Kuppa- where did you get your sideskirts from? i really like them and wouldnt mind modding them to fit.
anybody wanna do a write up on how to cut and install them so theres no gap with the mud guard?
why not just use the ek mud guards to cover it up…u’re already using the ek side skirts…might as well use the mud guard so it sits more flush…plus, less fabricating or fitment issues. also…the da/db mud guards weren’t made to support side skirts so it sits too low and scrapes a lot. that my 2 cents.
did anyone try using the 94-97 accord mud guards on their DA with the EK side skirts?..looks like the accord mud guards would fit more flushed
