heres when i mounted them last summer

as far as mounting them u first have to do alot of cutting

…after u fit them either u buy clamps or someshit i couldnt wait so i jus drilled them in[/QUOTE]

anyone know the color/code of this DA?

that car would be sick if it was all one color and had its side moldings

does anyone have anymore pics with EK side skirts, I just pick up a pair today at the junkyard.

here u go… good luck getting them to perfect like this car… i had ek sideskirts on my DA and it was a pain in the ass and never came out as good as these ones… hopefully you have better luck… this is the car that inspired me to run those skirts… just wasnt as easy as i thought it’d be… so i took em off after a couple years.

Clean ride man, since people be asking about the EK I’ll just start a DIY right Now i’ll post picturces of everything.

I can post up a “decent” install of EK 96-00 Coupe Side skirts on a Acura Integra 4 door sedan (DB1)

This is my 1991 Acura Integra Db1

These are my 1997 Honda Civic Coupe side skirts

You have to prep the Honda Civic Side skirts for install.
- You have to cut the little tabs along the inside of the skirt.

-This is the pieces that SHOULD be cut off. Here is what they should look like off the Civic side Skirt.

Install of 96-00 Honda (Ek) OEM side skirts to Db1 chassis
-Remove your Integra mud flaps (insert sad face here)

-Simply lay the side skit on the side, you do have to open the doors for this to fit onto the side. You will notice the Honda Civic EK side skirt is a tad to long. As you can see in picture.

-You will notice the side does not fit flush, like you would want it. This is a simple fix. Just trim the Honda Civic EK side skirt to fit in this area. I boxed it in BLUE of the area that will need to be trimmed. Keep in mind, the more time spent, is the best results.

-Here is a pictures of the Civic side skirt fully trimmed. I did not spend a hole lot of time on it. I had important things to do. :stare:

-Here is a rear picture of the Honda Civic side skirt fitted onto the side of the DB1 chassis.

-Your Screw placement for the Honda Civic side skirt on the Acura Integra DB1 Chassis

-Rear install, SUPER simple. Just drill a small screw here. Ladies like pink…

Installed!

My door is dented!

NO, You are not done yet. You plan to leave the ends open? Pshh…You will need some Accord front mud flaps. The accord mud flaps have an indention where the side skirt can lay, for a clean install!

-Lay it on.

-Mark holes and drill, add screws. DONE

Finished product!

So couldnt you technically install these on a coupe and just make it even shorter in the front? Anyone have pics of that?

Yes, this install would be the same for a da…I think. I personally never done one, but I couldn’t image it being different.

What I really want to see is a close up of what it looks like with the door open…

what ^^^ said. I’m picking up some of these sunday. Glad I found this thread… and even gladder it still has some pictures not stripped out.

no just need a thread about accord front and rear lip that still has pics… hehehe

here is my rhd with ek side skirts

good write up

i know this is old post. just want to know what year accord mud flaps those are from?
