exhaust flow

Will a DynoMax muffler with 2.5in pipe be to restrictive with about 8 or 9 psi? thanks for any help

Anything besides open downpipe is somewhat restrictive. At 9-10psi, you wont see any major losses to worry about. You’ll be happier and have less headaches with a much quieter exhaust note.

not to mention the headachs and dizzyness when the fumes seep into ur cabin.

Doesnt just having a turbo quiet the exhaust down though?? I know somebody with a 3" exhaust running back to a Skunk2 fart can with no resonators or anything and its just as quiet as my SP2. Thats doesnt make anysense, the trubo must act like a muffler of sorts or something.

i’Ve heard it decrease the intensity of the sound by 3 (-10 db)

a turbo does act as a muffler, but it’s still loud as hell. having an n/a car with an open e/m will just make you go deaf its so loud.

yea it does b/c the exhaust flow it what is propelling the ‘propellor’ in the turbo, so by the time it spools the turbo the exhaust ‘sound’ is down i guess you can say…makes any since??
