extra oil ports?

I was looking for info on tapping oil lines for turbo install and i came across an article for an oil pressure guage install on an H22. The guy used a port somewhere under his distributor on the h22 head. A hex wrench is needed to open it up and he tapped it for the sending unit. Now I read the turbo guide (several times) and know how to tap the sending unit on the back of the block.

I looked under the distributor of my G2 and I saw the same ports. we have 2 infact, and I was wondering if these can be used for turbo oil feed as well or is it only good to drive an oil sending unit or maybe use both ports.

I was just wondering if anyone know what ports I am talking about and has anyone tried using it for turbo oil feed? Also anyone know what size that port is?

if the port has oil pressure, your good. it would be 1/8" bspt, not the normal 1/8" npt.

Those ports are not under pressure, do not use them.

thanks alot herbadasher, i was amost getting ready to install my oil pressure guaue in one of the ports. nice timing.
