Big ass slicks…
looks sick ass f*#k.
Back from the dyno and very dissappionted… blew the head gasket!! … got a new set of head studs on the way and a bigger turbo… but heres the best and last pass of the night…u can see where the head gasket blew at about 8000rpm!!
what is that ??? where the a/c comp. supose to go ?>>>
External Oil Pump?
Yup!
what cams are u using?
Go top mount on the manifold looks like the manifold is killing you Or go to a BW turbo. But it could just be the head gasket cause it blew.
gsr cams… the manifold is fine but the turbo is a lil on the small side its a t4 .70 on the exhaust side… i got a t-76 now with a t4 .96 exhaust housing and bigger wheels… back on the dyno in a few days…
WOW! Nice build. Good Luck at your next dyno.
how do you plan to keep all that power to the ground on a track?
slicks…theres alot of 800-1000 hp street class cars out there… they run anywhere in the 10’s and 9’s and last weekend at english town a new record was set by Tony Palo from T1 Racing… 8.97@167 …
sweet pictures bro… How did you figure out what belts to go with? I just bought a after market pulley and I know the stock belts wont fit cause the pulley is smaller… Do you have any tips on finding what ones will fit?
Very nice build. Nice thing is you can put the front bumper and drive her around as a nice SLEEPER.
Keep up the good work.
Holy shit, I havent been able to get on much lately but how the fuck did I miss your build. Very nice numbers, its not every day you se a DA in that HP range and I love those torque numbers:burnout::rockon:
Whats the clearence look like on that oil pump?
Wat pulley and belts are you refering to??

Theres tons of clearance if you dont have ac or power steering!!

UPDATE
So after the 2008 dyno disaster i took it apart and found a cracked sleeve…
This past summer i just threw together a quick motor with a stock block and some pistons and rods i had kicking around… still a GSR block but with eagle rods and low compresion arias pistons 8.5:1… did a quick pump gas tune on the dyno roughly 18-19 psi and enjoyed the car!!!
…and this winters project… im boosting my lowered and stretched R1 …
 . . . .
