finally hit the dragstrip

I finally got a chance to get to the dragstrip this weekend. Been waiting all year, and I hit my goal. My goal was low 14’s. Lines were long in the staging lanes so I only got to run once. Wish I had a chance to go again.

R/T - .452
60’ - 2.455
330’ - 6.254
1/8 - 9.238
MPH - 84.88
1000’ - 11.844
1/4 - 14.014
MPH - 104.15

This is at 9 psi. Spinning through first and most of second. I need better tires. Here is a list of mods.

92’ RS w/ stock internals
SSAutochrome manifold (i know what you think, but I like it)
Garret t3/t04e turbo
HKS Standard Wastegate (7.4 psi orange spring)
XOXO Front mount intercooler (ebay special)
GReddy type-rs BOV
2.5" custom downpipe
2.5" Test pipe
Tanabe Hyper Medallion Catback Exhaust
Competition Clutch Stage 2
Mitsubishi 450cc injectors
Air pressure regulator from air tank (my manual boost controller)
Prothane Motor Mounts
Civic 1/2 sized radiator
Uberdata Tuned (by me)

nice. Have any pics of the setup??

Nice! Get that 60’ down and you’ll see low 13’s, high 12’s!

not bad at all.

i have a built b16 with a gt30r and i runs 13 on 7 psi. full boost 20 psi.
runs mid 11’s :argh:

heh. tell us if you have bracing and flexpipes. if it lasts for you, hey we’d like to know how long. it’s just playing with fire is all…

The manifold is braced 6 times. Two times from the flange on the head to the t3 flange. Four times from the T3 flange to the pipes. I do have a flex pipe on the downpipe.

Nice, pics???

Just wondering if you would let me know the cost of your build.

A si’m begining to build a HMT setup, Just wondering what other people are spending.
If you dont want to tell me, I understand/

Thanks, later

The pics on my digital camera are too big a file. I need to size them down then I will post them. The total cost I spent was around $2000. I got the injectors free from a U-Pull-A-Part yard. I used to work at Advance Auto Parts, they donated some stuff. (Intercooler piping, clamps, oil fittings and lines, small stuff)

Plus I installed everything myself. That keeps the cost down alot. And I don’t even have a garage.

Ok cool, Thanks,

resize the pics and get them up.
