originally my LS motor blew… i loved my LS! i had cold air… header… short gear ys1 with lsd… exedy stage one clutch fidanza flywheel… and i was beating gsr integras! no joke! maybe all their drivers sucked… lol but i was convinced that i did not need VTEC… but it blew two months ago… =( with a little help from friends and family loaning me 1500 dollars… and me coming up with the rest… i got a B18C from H MOTORS ONLINE AWESOME SERVICE. check them out… they are in burbank and have a great reputation.
SO i finally finished my JDM gsr swap… took me about two months… online because i ran out of money half way through the swap… and hap to wait for a few more checks… =( but patience is the key people…

A Few Questions FOr You Dude Is That An F20 Valve Cover And What Motor Mounts Did You GO With I Saw The Hasport Mount So I Was Wondering If You Just Used The HAsport Mounts For A DC Cause I Cant Find DA Specific MOunts Anywhere Which Is Why I Was Thinking Of Going With An F20b Instead Of A GSR OR Type R Motor

THANKS GUYS! yeah man no more borrowing cars!!! haha now everyone wants to borrow mine! =) :rockon: no its not f20 valve cover… but i was going for the prelude look! lol i came up on JDM b16 valve cover… so i powder coated it blue… i wanted a different look… everyone has black or red… and i kept the original one that came with the gsr for back up. =)
and they are HASPORT mounts… they make them for our DA integras! i love them… but be very carefull when ordering them… if you have a 90-91 integra or a 92-93 ( GSR model ONLY!!!) you get these
that is the same exact seller i bought it from… great experience buy it from him.
trust me they are both diferent… the only diferent part is the drivers side mount. trust me i know! i ordered the wrongs one at first! and it slowed down the swap! =( if you want to double check my info call HASPORT and see for your self…
oh and by the way people… i always loved my LS… i was convinced i did not need vtec… BOY WAS I WRONG!!! lol NOTHING LIKE REVING UP TO 8,000!!! it was pricey… BUT you get what you pay for and its worth every penny… forget ls vtec… i beat a few already!.. and i have a reliable engine… i did not break down after the race like they did lol and i get more miles to the gallon then i did with my old LS engine! lol just as long as i dont hit vtec… which is close to impossible not to! lol its addicting i swear!
Nice,looks great. I have the same motor lined up to go in my 92 LS in the next few months… Complete swap from hmotorsonline with LSD. Half of me wants to go with a TypeR motor because I have the money, but I’m leaning more towards the JDM B18C (XSi) motor.
yeah man… the type r is great… but i am completely satisfied with the gsr… i ran a tow USDM type r… 98 spec the white one… and a 2001 yellow… i beat the white one he was at my rear bumper… he had same exact mods as me… skunk2 manifold… CAI/H/E stage one clutch and 7 pound flywheel. the yellow one was bone stock and i beat him by about a car and half. no joke. you said XSI B18c?.. thier is no such thing man… xsi cam with a B16A. you mean “SIR-G” DC2 that cam with the b18c =)
Yea, i was looking at a B16 on hotorsonline while i was typing and screwed it up. Originally it was a toss up between the B18C GSR and the B16A XSi, still havent decided but i have plenty of time. But like i said probably leaning towards the GSR.
I need to keep cable tranny though, i kinda hate hydro.
same here lol… i mean i dont hate hydro… but i dont hink its worth the hassel of getting the conversion kit. rather get hydro internals and put in a ys1 tranny case. i originally thought about getting a b16 too!.. it was either b16 or gsr… i was thinking about it so much that i would lose sleep over it lol but word of advice… dont get the XSI B16… its an old motor… form the da in japan which was 89-92 i belive… it would almost a downgrade puting an older motor in your car… and plus it only has 160hp… get the SECOND GEN B16 that you find in the SIR CIVIC EG… its in a newer car… i which means it has less miles… has an extra 10 horses… 170hp (like usdm gsr) also higher compresion… and its still OBD-1 which is basically PLUG and PLAY for any 92-93 integra =)

yeah guys… GOD ALWAYS comes first. :rockon: i suggest everyone swap out their engine… not so much for the speed or to show off… but the whole experience its self was pretty amazing… =) i learned a lot and it was fun… and their is nothing like driving in a car that you know that you and you’re family and friends put together… awesome experience. and i understand that not everyone has the money to do this… and i was one of those people! lol put it this way, i have had my DA INTEGRA for about 5 years and i finally did the swap!~ lol patience… eveything in time… dont stress over it

yeah is good to know that…man everytime my savings start to get close to afford my swap…something comes out, bad axle, fkd up rack & pinion, brakes, tune up, etc. But I just need a few more paycheks and ill throw that bitch in there. Enjoy your swap man :rockon:
