My DA is slow, it’s just more fun than to just go in a straight line which is gone after 10 seconds on the 1/8th and about 15 on the 1/4th. I just never seen how it’s fun to race for 10 seconds.
dawm amazing job on the motor there was definetly some blood sweat and tears into this car good job
nicee swap. how hard would you say it was? and what axles did you use, the itr ones?
x2…wondering what axles to use… i think you talked me into the b18c… more torque with a honda is always good! and i double checked the xsi swap… and it is 170hp… that was a statement from H motors… heres the link to check.

so how stiff is the motor with those hasport mounts? and have you ever ran in the 1/4 mile? what was your time? also, what ecu are you running? i talked to H motors today and i can get a jdm b18c with a y1 LSD tranny and PR3 ecu shipped to my front door for 3G’s… is that steep? i thought it was a pretty good deal… the whole swap should have around 35k on them… i know i’m askin alot of questions… but i only got one more lol… what did you have to do to hook up all the stuff on the motor? vtec and such… i was thinking about getting the rywire harness… they run 190… has everything you need… vtec subharness ecu jumper and distributor adapter… Thanks for all your time and help in advance!
thanks guys… you can use you’re stock axles… all b series axles are interchangeable… will work fine. except i believe vehicles with ABS need ABS axles… but abs axles on a non abs car is fine!
HASPORT MOUNTS are a bit stiff… their are 3 levels of stiffnes… i got the softest ones because it is my daily driver. it gives the car a little rumble at idle… the car would jiggle when i would race and shift… but now with these new mounts it feels good… the engine does not move at all… it does its job well. so if you dont mind the little rumble at idle… get hasport. they are meant for performance not luxury. you want a nice soft smooth idle get OEM honda… NOT AUTOZONE… OEM dealre stuff… autozone crap will give you same rumble as hasport but with none of the performance lol no regrets buying them… always get compliments on them
3gs sounds like a good deal for that setup… when you consider that covers shipping and everything… LSD will be the best mod you can ever do to youre car, next to a new engine and close ratio transmission.
depending if you have an OBD-0 integra (90-91) or an OBD-1 integra (92-93)… i will assume ayou have an obd1 because mine is obd1. it was fairly easy… JUST TOOK A LONG TIME!.. it was so much fun… i had my stressed out days when i couldnt figure out what bolt went where lol but it was fun. it was a team effort… 5 people helped all together. if its obd1 use your stock harness! same way you pull out you’re LS same way you pull in you’re GSR. only changes i made was taking out the engine mount bracket off the gsr (Driver side) and replacnig it with your ls engine mount braket. and you’re ls rear mount bracket. i now im missing a lot of stuff… but if you want to know in detail… just ask… i will check this tread daily. i hadnt been because i thought it was dead lol you should not have to buy a new harness it your car is obd1… if its not… thats a different story …
VTEC… connecting vtec seems really difficult and scary to do… sounds complicated… BUT ITS NOT!.. TOOK ME about 15minutes to do… but if you want it to look stealth… and a clean wirring job… making it look like it came like that from the dealer… it will take way longer… but in order to get it working about 15 mins… 3 simple wires… vtec oil presure… vtec selenoid… and ground. one goes to any ground… and the other two wires go through the fire wall and you must clip them into the ecu… slots A and D. i tried looking for pics online but i can not find any! i will post later if i do,.
vtec subharness ecu jumper and distributor adapter not necessary for an obd1 integra.
mine is a 1990… so i’m def gonna need a rywire harnesss… i cannot wait to do my swap… i’ve almost saved up enough to do it and i’m excited!!! you think you could email me some pics? maybe even some videos? i’d love to see a video of the acceleration… that would be awesome… let me know what you can do… and thanks for all the help!

how is the motor…strong? thinking about doing some other stuff to the motor? your car? this is one motor i’d like to put in my DA someday…if not a lighter chassis like the crx
yes the motor is very strong… it feels good… i beat a doge charger RT the other day… and even a late model Z28 camaro… =) these are all cars that would smoke me before with my old ls… they guy in the charger was like… “NOT BAD… BUT YOU AINT GOT NO TORQUE”… i said… “WHO CARES… IM STILL FASTER THAN YOU AND I GET MY 28MPG” lol i shut his ass up lol… love this engine
im gonna keep the motor stock… internaly. i have every bolt on possibel… its my daily driver so i dont wanna do too much to the engine… i do wanna upgrade my transmission with a higher final driver and LSD from MFACTORY =) best way to make ur car faster is building ur tranny… =)
Good job. I just read the whole thread & it was great. It’s true about patience, it is a virtue. I had my car for over 2 years & I know for a fact that it won’t be done for another 2 to 3yrs. But im cool with that. I learned my lesson. I’ve had 4 teggy’s in the past & did everything possibly wrong with them. From removing a/c to “gutting it” to primer even cheap ebay coilovers lol. But congrats & your ride is an inspiration to me & all.
Port and polish that som bitch.
