First time boosting, can't keep car running...

Well, now i had it running last night, changed nothing, came out this morning and it wont even start. I’m going to check the spark plugs and anything else i can think of while i’m out there. Man this is a pain in the ass…

Oh yeah, i’m running Turboedit and I tried using Xenocron’s tuned bin to no avail.

I also tried a different set of 450’s and those didn’t do any better as well as there seemed to be plenty of gas in the fuel rail. So i’m thinking it’s getting fuel just fine, so i guess maybe it could be a spark problem? I’m getting so frustrated…GAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH

do you have a wideband? it’s hard to tune a car blind folded…
what’s your setup???

i do have a wideband, problem being, the car wont stay running long enough for it to be useful. I’m not trying to tune at the moment, just trying to get it started and running.

DSM 450s on a B18a? You tried both of my TurboEdit BINs and none will keep the car started?

How about a fuel pressure regulator or a clogged return line causing issues? Maybe a main fuel relay on the fritz?

Yes, DSM’s on a b18a. I tried your ng48 PR4 bin as i’m running a pr4 ecu.

I have the stock fuel pressure regulator still, i’ll have to check the return line. If that’s fine guess I’ll see about upgrading to an aftermarket regulator…

I’ll take out the MFR and see how it looks, i have a second one that i know is bad, but the one in the car at the moment hasnt had any problems thus far so I guess we’ll see.

what are you using to burn the chip? when I first started with the burn1 i had the chip addressing and buffer set wrong and my car did the same thing…fire up then die. If you’re using the moates burn1 you can get all that info at moates.net

thanks for the advice, i’ll check the settings when i get home to make sure they’re right. I had used it to burn some chips when i was still N/A and it seemed to work, but maybe i accidentally changed something.

I’ll be checking everything tomorrow yet again.
