ok so i have had my da for a while now and i am thinking of going turbo… i have looked at prices for turbo kits and find that they are alot of money… so i hear homemade turbo s are cheap when on a budget… i am planning on starting the built in the spring of next year…trying to go with 2gs…and would like to start buying parts now that way when the time come i ve got everthing…plz

i ve got a jdm b18b that i just swapped with 55k on motor

i was also looking at this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/90-93-ACURA-INTEGRA-B-CAST-17PCS-T04E-TURBO-KIT-91-92_W0QQitemZ180419908581QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item2a01dd53e5

please let me know what u think

Ive seen people make these work, but IMO it looks like a bunch of junk.

Im not saying my way is the right way, but I think if you are going to go turbo, do it right. I had a DRAG turbo kit when I deceided to go turbo and had no problems with it.

Personally I would try and piece one together.

Here’s my opinion…DO NOT BUY EBAY turbo kits! They are junk… I would either piece together the parts on your own if you have patience to get deals or my ultimate recommendation would be find a used TSI, Greddy, Boostflow. peakboost, etc. kit that someone is selling and start from there. You can find used kits for around $1000 Shipped, so that still leaves you room to replace and purchase extra items you might need, and tune the car for around $2,000.

ebay kits are not that bad, but i will have to say, you will have to modify a lot to get it to work. i agree, piece one together. you can actually piece together a turbo kit will all ebay stuff cheaper than you can actually buy a made kit. if you want reliability, piece together a kit with ebay stuff but get a name brand turbo, waste gate, bov, and you’ll be fine.

ok so i got 200 to spend right now what can i start to buy and install in the car would i be able to start with fuel injectors? what would you recommend if it was your built…and sorry if im asking to many questions

why would you change injector size on stock ecu ? dumping extra fuel wont do anything unless its tuned properly

ok so i did some thinking and i am going to start to buying my fuel system first here are the parts on my list… i need to know if it is needed to do a turbo…

  1. MSD Electric fuel pump $110
  2. MSD Distributer and rotor $40
  3. AEM High volume fuel rail $98
  4. AEM Adjustable fuel regulator $174
  5. AEM Fuel ignition control $389
  6. RC Engineering fuel injectors 440cc each $83

((prices are arounded up to the dollar))

please let me know if i need these thinks or if i need anything else…car will be in storage till may…buying parts little by little…

:bump:

Have you searched?

Before you go any further you need to read a considerable amount more. I’m currently in the same position trying to piece together a turbo system.
Read the Turbo Guide over and over again, it gives you a good idea on what you will need.

Good luck.
I would personally go different then what you are buying. Injectors you can run dsm 450 if on a budget can be had for cheap. Go with a walbro 255LPH Fuel pump. Stock distributor/ignition is fine for considerable amounts of whp.
