for thoose that are boosted

what program are you running to tune the car?and how do you like it… im thinking of getting the hondata 300,pricing around figured id see what everyonelse is using and how they like it of not.

Ill be running a VAFC 2nd gen. till i get around to swapping over to OBD1. If your already OBD1 then by all means go with crome or any other free tunning program , its free.

yea i had a 90 turbo’d da with zdyne ecu. it was ok but i got two 92 da’s now and is crome free? cuz i thought it was $150 'i’ll search around on that.most of the free programs are good for up to 12psi im pretty sure.

Well you have to pay to get the ecu socketed for crome then from there the tuner will tune off crome. So what you will be paying for is getting the ecu socketed and the tune.

^^^^ thanxs

on my first setup i ran s-afc good to about 250-300 .440 was the biggest injector i was able 2 run on a stock ecu.i had a built b16 11.5 comp.turbo,10psi.12.30 et.at112mph

First setup was just AFC, that was total crap.

Then I went BRE, better

Then I went ZDYNE, WAY WAY better

Then I went Crome when I converted to OBD1, for what you pay(nothing) it’s very good

Now I run Hondata S300, MORE then happy, so many useful featurs and options… Oh and the antilag is nice. lol.

For the user friendly software and pricing, the S300 is very competitive IMO. Don’t ahve to buy an Ostrich or anything to live tune like the others,(except for Zdyne)

Hondata the best results iv ever had s300 the best in my eyes very user friendly

Not very familiar with Hondata, (heard of it, but just getting my foot in the door of the forced induction area) do you have to be obd1 in order to run it or can you still run it being Obd0? (Probly a stupid question)

is Anti-lag bad for your turbo??? I am wondering. I see no one is tuned by Neptune. It’s not widely available as hondata, but the features that it has are very competetive to the S300.

That’s what I am going to have my car tuned with. it also has the anti-lag feature. Crome and Uberdata were cool, but If I had the money, I would have to go for the s300 or AEM EMS.

Antilag is bad on your turbo and everything in general. Instead of having the combustion in the chamber and using the created pressure and energy to spin the turbo, you are actually delaying the combustion to the point it is happening in the exhaust and you are using the brute force of the explosion to accelerate the turbo. It’s like putting dynamite in your manifold before the turbo :stuck_out_tongue: Long term wise I can’t see it being good for it, but who here really plans to run their turbo car that wasn’t meant to have a turbo for anothother 100,000 miles… lol. Oh ya, and it sounds sweet

Yeah it does!!! I’m still going to get it, but I heard it was hard on the turbo and manifold. how much boost do you build when using it? and are you using aftermarket axles? I know our cars are notorious for snapping axles when it is lowered even as much as an inch, because it throws off the geometry of the axles.
