well i found this today and its pretty clean with no shaft play.
i have no idea on what kind of turbo it is or the trim. no idea on the brand or any especifications.
i have some pics maybe you guys could help me figure out what it is.

thanks man. i have no idea of what the diall scroll thing is. may be a 2 staged turbo or something of that nature. but heres the only thing i found. seems incorrect tho

Mazda and Hitachi jointly developed the HT18S-2S Twin Scroll turbocharger for the 13B Turbo. This new turbocharger was designed to have virtually no " turbo lag " by having a flap that varies ( vacuum operated @ above 2500rpm ) depending on the load that opens wider during heavy load to have greater throuput and torque band. The turbo had two exhaust intakes into the turbine, the turbo acted as two turbos, by having both of advantages of small and big turbos, giving fast low end torque response and high end power. The turbine side was water cooled where the main body was cooled by a dual-ski heat shield. The motor makes 182HP@6500 and 183lbft@3500. The rotors from the turbo were dropped in comression from 9.4 to 8.5 that suited the application on the turbocharger.
The turbo had a built in wastegate that was actuated by intake pressure that limited the boost to 6.2psi from 2000 - 5000rpm and 5.4psi till 6000rpm. A fuel-cut was also incorporated just in case the wastegate malfunctions and the engine is boosted over 7.75psi and in between there the turbine can spin happily all the way up to 110,000rpm.

post this on hmt, dual scroll is the two opening on the exhaust flange, that may be a gt25e type turbo, a non ball bearing gt series is good shit, it is not very big afaik, but ask on hmt, someone will know.
