FPR question?

i was wonder what regulater you guys are running?
im not talking fmu, but the reg on the fuel rail.

i am about to be running b16 turbo, with the zdyne gold ecu and 550cc injectors. i just cant imagine my stock regulater handeling all that.

thanks:p

I’m runnin the stock FPR with my FMU setup. With the setup your lookin to go with, I would recommend either a AEM or B&M regulator along with a high flow Fuel Rail

thanks for the advice:p

i already have the B&M fpr, and im not happy with it.
i was thinking of switching to either AEM, or SX.

why are you not happy with the B&M fuel pressure regulator?

basically is is a cheap piece of junk…i guess ok with just basic boltons…just not a lot of potential for serous power.

i do have this, and this is just MY personal opinion…not trying to speak for the others on this board.

I had one of their fuel pressure gauges before and it broke pretty quickly, but I thought that was just a fluke. I think I will stay away from their products.

What are you trying to use it for? You trying to use it on a CART engine or something? I think the B&M works great for what it has to do. I mean, who is really going to need to crank their base fule pressure up really high?

im not trying to start an arguement, i kinda thought i made that clear.
i dont know about yours, but me and 2 other friends of mine are running that fpr and are not happy. mine maxes out at 60 psi…as do my friends.

no, i dont need that much pressure fight now, but i will be boosting with in the next month…and fully built by next spring…i think chances are that i will need something a little better:p

SX, what I am using
or
Areomotive…

Didn’t think I was starting an argument…I just wanted a little more detail on why you thought it wasn’t any good.

where can that be bought and how much??

you can get it at summit racing for $130, do a search for part# AEI-13101. you will need to get an aftermarket fuel rail or tap your rail to accept AN fittings.
