fuel pump question

hey guys , haven’t really posted here much before mostly lurked for awhile well any my question is do you think a bmw m3 fuel pump has sufficient flow/lph and psi for a turbo setup ? the guy i bought my 4 door DB from said he put in a m3 fuel pump because thats all he had at the time and needed to get the car going. so do you think this would be safe for a turbo application ? the car runs fine now n/a but im a little sketchy runing this pump . any info is appreciated

i’d say sketchy. just mainly because it is NOT made for a integra so the body and pick-up will be different then a proper fuel pump for ur teg. i’d suggest just buying a walbro 255 and be done with it. don’t buy a universal either. get a 88-91 civic pump which fits in our g2’s. (they don’t make them for our cars)

Well, in a non smarta$$ way, they technically do make a kit for our cars since the 88-91 civic version fits the DA.

which is what i already told him. it can be ran in them without problems. When u actually buy the kit from walbro they do not list one for the DA. what ur reading is what xenocron has added to the ad

does anyone know the difference between the two kits? i believe i have the kit for the third gen integra. i got it off a guy locally however so im not sure if i have all the pieces?

it won’t work from what i have seen and read. the body of the pump is much longer and the screen is designed different

do you know if theres a number on the pump that could let me know. ive looked at some pics and it seems that the screen for the third gen is in an angle and the second gen is just a 90 degree and mines 90 degree. i believe i have the right one then.

or maybe someone can measure the size of the pump? to make sure if i have the right one or if theres even a diff between the two.
