Hi there I am building a motor for boost and the garret wastegate I bought with the turbo kit is missing the firing ring. I was wondering if I could just use a tial 38mm firing ring on my wastegate. Thanks

i would like to help but i never heard the term firing ring. what is it? but either way tial is garrett so the parts might be compatible.

the reason why everybody is looking is because they think its the gasket sometimes refered to as a fire ring. hmmmm…if you dont have that piece, your best bet is to contact Garret and see if you can buy a replacement. the only other option is to buy a new wastegate. I highly doubt Tials fire ring will fit a Garrett seeing how garretts valve is a 35mm and tial is 38mm…oh and you never referenced a size but that is just my 02. to throw out there…either call the manufacture and get your own answer or buy a new wastegate.
