okay NOW… gas is OC (out of control)
It just went over 4 dollars for premium in Wisconsin here. I just bought a fuel filter today because I realized I was only getting about 20 mpg… which is RIDIC. What are the prices out west now?

Hit 1.39/L yesterday. 25$ didn’t get me half
yeah… this is depressing…
lets all move to another country and take our G2’s with us!
3.75 for 87. I just bought an 08 yamaha zuma-I get around 80mpg.
$3.49 for regular yesterday. $25 got me a little over half a tank
3.95 a gallon for 87 here yesterday. $52 each to fill up the tank in the 93 and 06 accord. I’m just thankful that I no longer have to commute 180 miles round trip for work. I was spending 500 a month on gas then, now it would be more like 1000.

yes, because gas is so much cheaper everywhere else.
Here in Bakersfield, average for premium is $4.10 a gallon. Everytime I fill up, I think about how much ciggarettes cost. Pack or Parliament Lights $4.26 1 gallon of gas $4.10 pretty fucked up.
Sometimes we don’t think, we’d rather spend 5-10k on new wheels just to save a couple hundred dollars in gas. doesn’t even out.
I know the person you were responding to is in Canada, but compare the average distance between destinations in the US to a small place like the UK. Also, their public transportation systems make us look like we’re in the Dark Ages. Gas is more expensive there, but they rely upon it much less than we do, especially those in rural areas (which is most of America).
For the vast majority of Americans, taking public transit or living close to where they work is just not an option. That means increases in gas prices are going to hurt/piss people off more, regardless of you trying to write it off by making a poor comparison to prices in Europe.
If I were in the UK and I was pissed about the price of gas, I can say ‘fuck it’ because I have other options. Here, I do not.
UK also saves money in other areas like health care, I vote for socialized gas than it might not be in the top 5 fortune 500 companys. BTW more than half of the price you pay in gas is tax.

Well then, you go ahead and tell us which countries has gas cheaper than the U.S.
Keep in mind, you have to pick a country where not only is gas cheaper, but that you won’t be killed for not being a muslim.
I await your suggestion.

Venezuela.
o yea and a pack of newports isssss $5.25
if you look around you can get em for 4.65 +/-
Mexico has cheaper gas, if I’m not mistaken. So there’s two options, both of which are the result of government subsidies. So pick your poison, I suppose…
Looks like we’re going south people… haha

wow KAZAKHSTAN is a real country, lol.
.14 cents a gallon in venezuela ho ly shit!!!
Its 4.80 on 91 octane at shell. Come oooooonnnnn 5 dollars! Just almost there. Yep eeee… Not!!!
You’d better be amazing at blending in and assimilating and not having a cultural identity of your own if you want to get by in either country.
Although it would be pretty fun to have a Pro-America day in Mexico and parade through their streets and block traffic waving American flags to proclaim your pride in your heritage. :giggle:
