Im thinking of putting in supercharger in my G2, Ive heard that jackson makes one but im not sure. i would like to know if anyone has even put a supercharger in their G2 and how much ot was and what other parts i need to make it work right.

somebody has before but i forgot who it was and i dont know if their still a member. Sorry
Andy

They do not officaly make those for the B18A, but they do for the B18B. I dont know what kind of part differences it has, but they are different in terms of wiring. Jackson makes good numbers with the GSR, but I found it to be quite shabby for the LS. LS-Turbo just works so much better in my opinion.

I think that link works

I’ve heard you have to relocate the master cylinder in install a jackson racing supercharger in a gen 1 teg. More trouble than it’s worth. I think you might be able to put a vortech sc unit in though, but I’d go turbo if it were me.

I believe the only way it’s been done is to remove the brake booster. Wilwood offers a brake master cylinder replacement but I am not sure if it solves any of the fit issues using a JRSC.

There was a company, not sure which–possibly wilwood, that made a remote master cylinder. It had variable pressure settings and all, and was incredibly small (as compared to the OEM master cylinder). Personally, I would rather SC my car than turbo it and call it a day. I am just not up for the hassle of rerouting all of the nessecary items to get it to work.

As for your orig. question, there was a member on here a while back that had pics of his install of a JR SC. He said that if he had to do it all over again, he would’ve just turbo’d the setup, and not had the hassle. He changed out motor mounts, along with some other serious fabrication.

yeah i just got off the phone w/jackson. the only way 2 fit it into our 2nd gen integras is 2 dig into the fire wall, relocate the master cylinder as Robbin said, and mess around w/ur shock assembly…damnit! i guess its either all motor or turbo now…damnit!! no love for the 2nd gen!

whats up guys,
alright the owner of a local shop around here (a buddy of mine) said that its no problem. i’m getting a b16 swap soon and he said that after i get it done i should get the jackson racing supercharger put in. i told him that its not possible cause of the engine bay that we have. he said that its all good and i should put it in, when i asked if its possible, he said its no problem. he said that he’d just charge me a reasonable price (no more than $400) he said. so can this really be done? or am i just getting a real good deal with him cause he knows me? either way i’d think it would be cool to have a supercharger. i’ll see whats up. either way i’m getting a good deal. i didnt ask if it was going to be custom or not but oh well, i guess i just got happy cause i’m getting hooked up.

well since the hope of putting a jackson supercharger in a b18a engine is pretty much out of the picture. (sucks major A$$!). I guess turbo is the other alternative. Now for those who do a b16 swap i hear that vortech makes a good supercharger for that engine. The centrifugal type charger they use i hear works alot better than a standard roots blower. The desing is kinda like a turbo but minus the lag.

yeah i heard about the vortech one for the b16. i’m not sure if that guy is telling the truth or not about the jackson racing, but hopefully its true. i guess i’ll find out this summer whether or not its possible. people on here have said thats its too much work to customize the supercharger in the engine bay. if thats true than i guess turbo for me :stuck_out_tongue:
