HASPORT B16 EF(88-91 CIVIC/CRX) JRSC

—THAT ENGINE BAY IS AWFULLY SIMILAR TO OURS. I KNOW THE DC2 SUPERCHARGER DOESN’T HAVE A CHANCE IN HELL OF WORKING WITHOUT BEING UBER CREATIVE…BUT THIS B16 EF SUPERCHARGER IS A ONE OFF, SOLD ONLY THROUGH HASPORT. DOES ANYONE HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH IT?

http://www.hasport.com/products/supercharger.htm

i’ve been curious about superchargers but i havnt found anything that is suposed to fit our engine & engine bay.
either way, SC’s are friggen expensive.

@ $2600 for a well engineered, complete kit + tech support…Can’t beat that. B16/17s – are awesome a little extra torque never hurts.

Did you find any dyno graphs? IIRC, they can’t even muster 200 to the wheels.

It should fit, though… the EF engine bay isn’t a whole lot smaller than the DA, but it’s smaller, so if it fits in there, you should be good.

I sooo definetely don’t need 200 whp to the wheels. 180 is plenty much for me, I just want the car to be a little more fun. I don’t want to turn into an all out beast. Watch tht opinion of mine change in six months

For some reason I can’t load that link nor can I get to the Hasport site to load directly.
Though this my be interesting though.

Seems your misinformed there buddy.

scroll down to the B18’s. and their running catalytic converters too.

245whp/185tq isnt too shabby for a stock motor, and a $3400 Supercharger kit that needs no further tuning, because the kit comes tuned out of the box with a Hondata S300.

Well, I suppose kudos to Hondata for finally making something out of that turd.

But still… 215 at the wheels for $3400? And that’s probably on a dynojet. I dunno… I suppose it has certain advantages, but if I were cutting the check, I’d rather just go LS-T.

anyone take a look at the new jackson racing? those jackson racing superchargers we all became accustomed to were owned by Moss motorsports.

the new jackson racing is it’s own comany now and has this new rotrex supercharger that there developing kits for. for all the guys trying to go supercharged or even those that are turbocharged can look into these kits. although there not available for our cars yet but you know it’s coming. there going to have applications all the way to 20 PSi. so here’s a pic for reference.
