So i havnt posted in awhile, almost a year i think. Ive been doing some work to my car here and there, but this year im actually going to be doing some work to it.
trying to prepare it to see some track time, mainly just small events such as speed ventures, speed trails, etc. maybe amature redline time attack.
some parts im getting soon, hopefully.
coilovers, either function and form type 2.5 or PIC select coil overs.
Kosei K1 wheels 15x7 +25 offset
asr rear subframe brace and sway bar.

some solo shots nearing the end of the day.
and racing it at the local track in riverside. nice little track to practice on. fastest time so far on blown shocks and skunk2 pro s coils with crappy diamond back daily tires is 50.80. which isnt bad considering other cars that run competition street tires and full suspension run around 47-48 seconds.
yeah it serves that purpose aswell. but the main purpose is to “brace” the rear, as its connected to the rear subframe as a tie bar and also connected to the rear parallel frame rails welded to the rear toe hitches and its all triangulated as you can see in the picture.
ill have interior pics as soon as i get a photoshoot with my friends cam.
it is off an old VW jetta i believe. i havnt seen anyone with it, but i will get rid of it once i start doing exterior mods again, when i get the jdp cf deck lip, looks pretty much the same but cf.

i should be seeing more tracks with this car this year i hope, but next year for sure i will be.

man this must be the month of comebacks, you arent the only one i’ve seen come back. i was just thinking about you pause a day ago was like ‘where is that panda DA at?’ i just came back have a maxima now purchased a DB1. doing minor work, mainly a clean look for a DD. got it to save gas on

just saving up some money for parts here and there, its been awhile since i have done anything to my car.
thats funny because i also want a 92-93 db1 for a daily driver, just hellaflush it out and make it look pretty for a DD. aha while i have my DA for weekend use.

thats wassup man. i was thinking flushing mine as well…MAYBE stance, but im focusing on making it 100% functional right now, so i’m trying to score some blades or SIs. whats your old suspension looking like since you’re trying to get a different setup? im going to be looking to get a coilover setup in about a months time for this car trying to see whats out there.
either way it goes…your DA brings back memories of when i use to post whore it up in here lol. glad you came back

nice, yeah id say go do suspension first before looks. although with my DA i did looks first thats only because when i had my cibvic i did motorwork and suspension before i did looks. so i kinda switched it around when i got my DA.
my suspension right now is crappy, just some skunk2 pro s coils, cant wait to get a better setup though. im eager to take my car out on the track especially a new track was just made in palm springs i believ called chakwala or somethign like that.
yeah me posting way back then and just photo whoring it up. lol, this time the photos will have some type of purpose and also some pics are just to look nice. aha.

the exhaust is 2.25 headers back and y-piped near the end with 2x 2" polished tips with a 30" resonator. its custom made.
as for the jspls, they were 15x6.5 +38 with 195/50/15’s if i remember correctly. those where my first set of wheels almost 5 years back when i first got the car. lol
