what struts you have on teh skunk2 coils? i maybe interested in getting them from you. not like this will ever hit the track, strictly daily on this. ill beat on the max lol. when i get my car to a point…ill start posting pics of it. hopefully have some seats located (as mine are all busted to shiznit). i dont know when i’m going to hit a road course, i finally got to a 1/4 mile after a year of wanting to go smh.

ill prob. get rid of the coils for like 100 when the time comes.

thats a nice daily driver, lol. i wouldnt mind driving that around, i hate driving my car to any places. once i get a db1 which would be soon i hope, my DA will never see the streets. only to meets and certain track days. lol

i stay on the east coast, south carolina…i was wanting pretty much a drop in coilover setup…you not going to be using the stock struts anymore anyway are you? but yea the max is a pretty decent DD…a little hard on the pockets w/ gas…$65 a fillup w/ gas at about $4/gal for premium, hence the DB1. i hope i can say teh same about my max one day…which is why im doing a little bit to it so i can have an incentive to keep driving it and let the max sit

oh, i stay in the west coast, south california. your better off buying some other coils from craigs list or something. lol, shipping will be a killer for just a 100 dollar coilover.

the powerplant, jdm b18b with custom cold air intake using the stock arm and box. i believe those are hks style cam gears(i bought them from my friend, they just look nice. lol)
future plans with the engine after suspension:
full crower head(valves, retainers, springs, cams(404), etc.)
port/polish + mill, and .5 over to satisfy the valves.
skunk2 pro series intake manifold,
tri-y headers,
and whatever program that is good for tuning, im not too sure yet.
but my goal is to hit 170-180whp. dont bash on me for not going vtec, i just like to keep it non-v since the car came non-vtec.

93’ LS-S with my old wheels.

my friends custom built rear engine rear wheel drive car.(based off the crx chasis). only thing left on it thats a crx is the doors and parts of the firewall/dash.

he took it to the track that night, first time out. handled like a beast… just like an oversized go kart. the car only weighs 850-900 pounds. btw, this is the guy who made my rear brace and bars @ BFR(bells fab and race.)
and me skating at my friends shop. landing a hardflip. lol

and ill have more pictures as my build slowly comes along.

this is a small list of what ive done to the car, im prob. not going to name every because either i forgot or yeah… thats pretty much why.

exterior:
wheels now are te-cup replicas, temporary.
soon to get kosei k1 wheels,
jdp carbon front lip,
jdp carbon rear visor,
abs dynamics carbon oem style hood
muden style side skirts
accord 3-pc. rear lip
accord front mud guards,
jdm power folding mirrors
jdm 1-pc. headlights
oem sunroof visor
old school vw jetta rear deck lip

interior:
stock palmy blue everything, just no rear seats.
4-point roll bar with harness bar and latteral bars(will be a 6-point with door bars when its complete)
stock radio form 92! i love it. lol

engine:
jdm b18b
pr4 intake manifold
stock headers,
stock intake,
2.25" headers back w/ 30" resonator to a dual tip exhaust.
aftermarket oil catch can, i believe its an NRG style catch can.
custom made aluminum coolant resevoir

suspension:
SHIT. nothing :[
will upgrade soon though.
either PIC selects or function and form type 2.5
planning to get the ASR rear subframe brace with swaybar,
replace all bushings.

thats pretty much of all i can think of at the moment.

LOVING the graffiti under the hood and the other set of wheels. as far as CL…cant find nothing on there man. no DA/DB love around here, its crazy. ill keep my eyes open though, but if you ship the whole assembly ill be interested in it within a month or so. after i pick up these seats, next goal is a set of rims with good tires as my tires are pretty busted. really thinking about F&F 1 full coilovers though. HAVE to pay down my CC first before i get those, about got that shiet maxed out, smh

yeah the CL out of here is alright. Im just not too sure on the exact time im going to get my new suspension because i still have to get my wheels and good tires, which will run me around 800-900 dollars. and credit cards suck, i owe about 1000 dollars total on 2 credit cards so about 500 each. lol. and thats just on food and gas! xD and some little things here and there.
im super eager to get my new wheels, hopefully i should have them within 2 weeks time, well i still have to place the order then wait another week, so prob. 3 weeks from now ill have them. Then to start saving for suspension.
If i were you, i’d rather go with atleast F&F 2’s as appose to 1’s. The ride is a bit more solid and its adjustable, my friend with the white LS-s has type 1’s, i think they are too soft. but its def. better then my ride quality on stock shocks and skunk2 coils.

Say iRockTheDA9, nice work thus far. Yeah you came up missing there for awhile. Imma keep an eye on this thread and check your progress as it goes along. Also, your friends all white DA looks good too. He needs to make an account and stop resisting LOL! Good luck on the hole track thing!

thanks! yeah, i did this awhile back. same with my friend who got his front bumper who also has graffiti, its a bit different but the trend is starting to catch on. like i seen some cars with it in hellaflush5 in santa monica.

yeah, its a blessing that i have him as a friend. aha, and the crx on the track is rediculous. you gotta see and hear it in person. the powerplant in it right now is an obd0 LS with a jun tuned ecu. but he is soon upgrading to a bisi built b20v turbo. that thing will be a beast when its done. lol

so only the height is adjustable on the F&F 1s? i’m not too concerned about the ride being ‘too soft’. i just want to lower and have a better than bouncy/everywhere ride that i have now on this 20 year old suspension on it now. when you’re ready to sell the suspension lemme know. if i dont have anything by then ill get it from you. im not in a super rush, when i get my tires/rims, ill be content for a while. just want a nice solid DD, all im looking for

yeah the ff type 1 are only ride height adjustable. which isnt a bad things, but i prefer something a bit more solid. but they should be fine for your car for daily driving. ill let you know when i get rid of mine.
