hello guys this is my DA lotsof workin being done

lol ^ agreed i saw neon fenders and had second thoughts. deff not the normal build thread, good to see your doing your own thing. keep it up

the car will be just gloss black with flames on only the oaasenger sid eof the hood roof and on to the hatch

shifterkart1
haha not for sale sorry ,ever since the canadian dollar rise its not worth what it was .now its like allmost $400 or something .
pretty slick though huh

toohott4handlin
thanks ,ive allways been like that .i look at it as i can spend a pile to get someone else to do it ,or i can buy the tools and try it myself .Sometimes it works out and sometimes not haha

billabongrob
thats an idea ,but wouldn’t hinging it be a pain ? sinceid have to have it spring loaded or power and have it lock .I dunno seems like a lot of work to do and figure out before the 23rd which is my deadline haha ,gonna be close

i guess i can allways move it intot he hatch are and deal with it after .just weld up a mounting point stick it int here for now .we shall see .

garagekansai
thanks .haha most are like that .its hard to not to be a critic whent he work inst done .

gumbs
not really i bought the car for 450 and they go for 2500 to 3000 in decent shape ,so i wouldhave to dish out a bit to get a clean one .I didn’t intend to do the work i was going to swap intot he crx .But one thing lead to another and here i am haha

RedHeadPyr0
haha yeah i just looked at the shape and with some triming there were pretty close ,just a bit of a flare .nothing major .

if you look at my crx pics i posted the rear 1/4 panel arches are fronm a 1987 civic hatch front fenders . That car was in way worse shape then this one .

i had to cut and weld in new floor boards from your feet to you butt . along with many many hours of media blasting rust proofing and custom work

here is a link to Hondatech to check out the whole deal and what went on .(still havent finished it yet though (need a parts car)

mitch:rockon:

dude your thead is extremely inspiring!
I haven’t done anything with the inspiration yet… but your thread gives me hope!

Good Job man,

I dont have as much work ahead of me as you did but i get to do a 1/4 panel, I am also gutting the Interior and building a 8pt roll cage for mine. So i have a ways to go. But this like the previous poster said it has Inspired me to get my shit done too.

BTW any updates?

Nice! I wish I had your garage space and tools.

Nice! I wish I had your garage space and tools.

x2

Simply amazing my friend. I really like how you did the rears. The extra little flare that it has is very nice. Glad to see that you decided to build it up rather than use it as a parts car.

WOW ! thank you very much for the nice words (making my eyes water)
:hugs: not even kidding people hated for so long the last 6 years ive been doing this stuff and i’m hearing more and more positve comments .makes it all worth it .

90IntegraLS1.8L
thanks 8) oh yeah that should be fun .i am going to cage the crx ,not that large though just a 4 point with removable door bars .

yes there is an update ive got the drivers door done ! just have to hang it .i was going to paint in peices like i have ,but i don’t have any room to store parts haha i do but i don’t feel like hauling them to my other garage with the snow being so deep now .

so i’ll have some pics in a bit

torralba & HonDA_Integra
i live in the country so thats the only reason i have a garage this large .
ive been buying tools since i was 15 and sowly built them up .I don’t even really have that many 7000 to 8000 worth i guess . but i had to work my ass off in the oil feild to buy most of them .
and i don’t drink or do drugs so that saves money haha

DJLotus
thank you bud

yeah i think it looks better then stock .matches the front now .As am i there was a bit of rust ,but not as much as my crx and when i saw how mint the floor boards were i had to clean it up .

so thank again i’ll have some sort of pics in a bit ,i have to do an oil change on a nissan and i’ll hang the finished door

mitch

Sweet, I should have updated pictures of my car tomorrow. If i can find the Digital camera.

cool i’ll check it out (thumbsup)à

ok here we go

primed hatch jamb

and the door installed

now that thats out of the way i’m going to finish welding up that other door .

i forgot to mention the reason why it took me so long to post the pics .I got stuck . precepts or whatever there called Blow !!! like they really suck haha

think i did something worng with this patch

haha just kidding

i’m seriously thinking about shaving the fuel door ,so i need to know how who ever has done one does it ?

the only thing i can think of is making a bracket and hinge on one side

a guy was saying make it slide . I like that idea but again to make something that wont jamb up or stick might be a challenge .tomorow i’m going to mess with some steel and see if i can make some hinges allso ive been drawing up my own mirrors .

there going to be like the ones that didn’t show up off ebay and lost my money on …bastard couldnt even speak engrish …prick …he allso stiffed me on a pillar pod 80 bucks i think all together

well more to come

here are the mirrors ive started . super light and alot cheaper then carbonfiber ones .haha

i was going to have it bolt up as well to show how clean it is ,but can’t find my bag of nuts and bolts.

oh well . now i have to set up the mirror pivot thingy and then i’ll clean them up and paint them

i’m telling you these things weigh like maybe 6 ounces and i’m guess maybe it will be around 10 complete

ok i’m shaving the fuel door .

ive got the materials to fab a hinge so i’ll have some pics in a while .

seems simple (shrugs)

very interested to see how the the taillight/fuel door turns out.

hmmm i guess i didn’t update this page (i’m on too many sites haha)

ive mad the hinge and have it super close and just need to ajust the base of the whole thing ,but now i wanna do something totally differnt .

so i’ll show of how close ive got it do far

i first made with one hige ,but i didn’t like how it cam out and i would had to cut the top of the light .(no thanks)lol so i just reidd it and added a bit of steel and another hinge .

why it needs to be ajusted

but now i’m changing the whole look for a pop out and have it swing up .so i can route the filler hose easier and i think it will just look sick

i’m going to start it right away .

mitch

here is an update for you guys
this will be cleamed up and ive shortened the pipe alot ! its now less then half that haha

coming out

and up she goes

and shut

now onto what ive been doing all night haha well not all night some of it though

just nasty haha

much better

ive strpped the hinge fuel cao holder and those little peices of steel off the door before i tacked into place i’m going to mount the fuel cap holder on the light haha

tomrow i’m going to trim the fuel filler houseing to fit nice and close and some of the car as well ,then i’ll start cutting steel and make it all nice nice and closed in

more to come

mitch

awesome. Glad you chose to shave that, can’t wait to see the finished product. Like the way she swings up. NICE!

w0w. Simply… wow, different, refreshing, unique!
Merry Christmas to you!

What are you going to do to keep the taillight from leaking with it like that?

Sick!

Keep it up, no matter what others say, this is definitely inspiring…
