help installing intercooler

i have a 93 intera - i need help i have a 27 inch long intercooler - installing the right side pipes are easy( connecting it to my cold air intake pipe)- but the left side is the hard part- i wana know if i need to cut holes in my frame to insatle this big frig ----- pictures any one------

You can’t see everything in those pics, but besides that notch that you can see I cut out, I also had to cut through the 2 walls of the frame to get the pipe through. It wasn’t very much fun at all.
