I’ve been searching and done with all motor. now switching to turbo. my question is on a stock motor pushing 10 psi with cometic gasket arp head studs. 81.5 mm pistons turbo is a 57 trim .64 a/r do I need to add a breather setup? I seen it on high hp motors but didn’t know if what my friend saying I needed it was right
Installing a breather is a good thing because you dont want to use the stock PCV system. Sucking crank case gasses through your motor can/will throw off your tune and gunk up your motor.
But you can’t just plug the system off, either… hence a breather or catch can setup.
It’s not a NEED, but the more boost you run the more beneficial a nice catch can system will be.
