take a look at my oil drain is this okay…i’m having oil by pass and was wondering if this is the problem…it’s a little to the left where the slope in the oil pan is at…
it should be okay as long as it goes str8 from the turbo to the oil pan and it looks like it.
just wondering…whats the white stuff around you oil pan?

looks like jb weld. I just soldered a brass fitting in.
did you say ‘‘oil by pass’’ .or did yoiu mean blow by? look at the bottom of the turbo that looks like oil coming out of the housing. either you blew seals on the turbo or you melted a piston. that should be the main problem with the oil. the drain looks good just needs to be tightened down a little more and take out the jb weld. and maybe get a tig welded on.
yea the turbo seals are bad that’s why there’s oil on the bottom of the turbo…i’m putting a new one on so i wanted to make sure it’s okay before i put it on…btw the bung is welded onto the oil pan and the stuff around it is just hondabond…yea i know looks nasty around it…thanks for the info

Mine was ghetto like that, then I bought an aftermarket oil pan and actual threaded fittings so it wouldn’t leak like hell.
thanks for the replies…i’m gonna try on the new turbo tomorrow and hope it doesn’t passess through the seals…
