I drove my friends first gen teg back in 94, I had no idea about cars (tegs) but later on I got hired full time and decided to go and buy me a car, I saw a ad for a red integra but I end up getting a green one…I love my car ever since…I got my car in Dec 18 96…and I’m proud to say…SHE’S STILL WITH ME…

2 of my friends had DAs and they just convinced me to get one so i found a db1 and i loved them from then on
I never fell in love with it. i hate it!!! damn car!
First manual car i drove was my uncles 90 rs. i always wanted one after that. When i turned 16 my dad got me a 96 dc ls. Got into an accident with it. it sat for a year (i was broke) drove a 91 tercel for a year and got myself a gs400. sold the dc and tercel. a year later got my da for dd and the gs400 for the wife.
It started in 1990…
I didn’t like DA’s at first. I thought they looked a little long cause i was REALLY into EF/EH Civics and CRX’s. My neighbor and one of my early inspirations for DA’s got one real early when they first released in late-89/early-1990. Within a few months, his car was lowered. My neighbor, along with my older brother (my bro had a black 89 Civic SI) loved Hondas…It was off to the gardena/long beach street races we go…It was reeeeeal early in the honda game…Barely any hondas at the street races. I just noticed that the DA had the DOHC motor and i saw it had more potential than the d-series motors. Remember, this was a time before ANY motor swaps were performed.
Onto Dec. 1991…
It was my turn to purchase my new dealership car. The choices were to wait til February 1992 to release for the then, brand new designed black 92 Civic SI, a maroon 91 Nissan 240sx, or a last production 91 (milano-red<—fucking rare!!!)" CRX SI. Across the street was an Acura dealer and my bro and pops convinced me to take a look at the DA’s although my heart was set for the CRX. My folks convinced me to get a DA due to the power steering and AC that was standard on the DA (funny is that those accessories are gone off my car now). Plus i was sold on the DOHC motor…

Still have it and still building it to this day. I’ve met A LOT OF GREAT FRIENDS along the way…
My uncle owned a gs-r. I remember he bought it brand new. they live in San Diego and would drive to Oregon every summer. that thing was a champ. Still runs great

Was WAY into car stereos back in the day and saw a g2 in an issue of Car Audio and Electronics and instantly fell in love. Think it was probably 95 or 96. Ended up getting a 90 GS back in 97. Haven’t owned anything but a g2 since. Have been tempted to sway lately thought, Evo or M3 really beckoning to me.
My Uncle’s G2 was the most greatest thing I ever drove in as a new driver, I loved this thing so much that I had to get my own. The rest is history. 
when i started working at a shop the da was tucked inside in a corner
beat to shit guess it got hit from front and back.
front and back bumpers were hanging off…other than that it was looking good.
i didn’t even drive it i just said im taking it. and that was the first time i actually noticed a da.

Well I was always into cars and i got into Honda's when I was only 10 from my cousin T'j having a turbo b16 89 civic hatch, from the moment I got in that civic I was hooked on Honda's, I was dreaming about having one.
Well 2 years later he was searching for four door Integra and he took me out with him to look at one with him which he ended up buying for 3000$ It was green, a 4x4, and OEM lol, but I loved it.
A year later he had lowered it, swaped in a b18b, and painted it, and by then i was 13 years old and i wanted a Project car of my own. One day I saw my cousin and I said hey keep your eye out for a nice clean civic or Integra cheap for me please, and he said well ill sell you the Integra, I was so excited I said how much he wanted 700$ so I gave him my 84 4cyl 4 Runner my dad gave me as a field truck and 600$, Gradually paid the car off, and well iv owned it since, I'm now 17

wow after reading all these stories, mine sucks compared to all of them. Well at first i didnt really notice tegs that much even though my dad had a 91 jasper green gs that he bought brand new. Then my dad bought a g3 so when i got my license of course i got the 91 gs, at first i was jealous and of course i wanted the g3 but after i drove my car a couple of time it grew on me and now im in love with it, hell i even think the g2’s look better than the g3’s
A friend of mine had a white 91 LS special in high school.Even though I had a turbo car,I still had a thing for his teg.
My brother got a Db1 in 06 and i was only 14 in 2005. i loved the car so much i gave him the 100 dollars i had saved up to him so that he could invest into it. He later sold it 4-5 months later. I guess he still had a love for them so he bought a da that he currently owns and is building. My oldest brother also bought a db some where along the lines. And september 2008 i got my first car, a da. I love it more then anything.

I’d been looking to start up on a project car. I couldn’t really decide where to start. One day I was taking a shuttle to school, and I saw a beat up black DA on the side of the road. I don’t wanna swagger jack the post above mine, but it really was love at first sight. From that day forward I had to have a DA, and now that I have one, it sucks that I don’t have time to work on it :sad:

I liked the G2’s back in the day when tony fusch was running his, but I didn’t pick mine up until 1999, I was in a bad place(jail,work release) at the time so my ex- came to me and said “I found this car, I think you might like it”. I told her bring it to me and let me check it out, and damn if it wasn’t a 92 gs-r. I didn’t know much about the gs-r and how rare they are at the time, so when she said it was a gs-r I said thats impossible, they didn’t make them till 94, then I had to do my research. I got it from a guy that was in the military and he bought the car new, he said he was stationed in japan for 5 years and he had the car over there with him, so this car traveled as well. At the time I was reading turbo magazines so all I wanted was a DSM! I got the teg and the rest is history, every car is a honda that I own. I still have the car and I plan on keeping it forever! its my first car and I love it!
