I bought one about 7 inches tall. i hope it fits. but whats the limit without cutting? i think it would be very informitive for everybody. im sorry if its been covered i didnt see it when i searched

When I had my Drag turbo kit, I had to cut my bumper. I think it was around 7 inches tall.
Pretty much always have to cut the bumper for an ic to fit. I have the jrc 6" and i cut my bumper support so it would sit up higher in the bumper space. Theres still prolly a 1 inch gap too. :shrug:
omg my bad. i thought i put it in the title. so did you have to cut the bumper support? I wanna avoid that, not because im lazy i just dont have anything to cut it with and all the shops wont cut anything that is made to support anything. I couldn’t get any shops out here to make any kind of notch on my xmember for the downpipe.
Well the only thing that got in my way was where the bumper lights are…they mount into the support. I cut the bottoms of where the bumper lights fit on the support, this was to let my ic piping sit up higher…resulting in the ic taking up the whole grille space. This pic is of it before it was moved up…i only have about a 1 inch gap from the top now.
