how much power can I get out of my turbo? 57 trim...searched??

If some don’t know, I am(been) turbo for awhile, but now I want to get all I can out of my turbo that I got. I currently have a T3/T4 57 trim with a .60/.63 A/R stage 3 wheel from Turbonetics.

I realistically want to get to around 500HP, but I’ll take whatever this turbo can put out (I don’t plan on changing it just yet). I know it can get up there somewhere but I don’t know how much this turbo can put out? it’s kind of a grey area that nobody knows but maybe some of you real turbo freaks can help me.

I have searched and searched but I don’t see much about a 57 trim or it’s capabilities. I just see 490+ and I know 49 lbs./hr is what it shows on it’s specs. I also see that the 60 trim is 1 lb more at 50lbs./hr so what does that mean?

my engine is not built yet but it will be in the near future with lots of goodies, that I been collecting for years so don’t worry about that, I just want to know where the power of this turbo relies so I can plan accordingly.

some how i think this is BS

"20,xxx miles on the motor. stock ls on 93 pump gas.

update it made 415 whp and 339 torque!!! on stock motor at about 30 psi !!!
to bad it was done on accident. the vac. hose on wg slipped off and is why it made that much… anyways #4 piston didnt like it so it gave up. it cracked the ring land on #4. the rest held up pretty good and still have great compression.
we were only shooting for 350whp btw. got the motor taken apart an hr. later so it will be put back together tomorrow since we didnt have a set of rings. its still going to be a stock ls motor but this time only 350whp.

hey, i don’t know either. i’m just the messenger.

on a side note, my friend made 300hp on a bone stock LS motor with an SC61 and a slipping clutch. t00ned by Jason Herrera, owner of St00pidfast in Houston, TX and still going strong. i don’t know how close a 57trim is to an SC61, but anything that might help, right?

415hp sounds nice but it sounds like he could’ve got more out of it. I think on a stock block, he’s crazy!!! but that’s him, any others? that turbo is very similar to mine except his is garret and mine is Turbonetics. any more 57 trim finds?

I think the sc61 is bigger than the basic t3/t4 57 trim. It spools up about 1000rpms later to my knowledge.

my buddy is selling his turbonetics t3/t4 57 trim with manafold and hks wastegate and some other stuff if any1 is intrested

sc61 is bigger than a 57 trim.

realistically you will make in the low 400hp range on a 57 trim before getting up there in its efficiency
