How safe is a basemap tune? Attn:Xenocron

I have been searching all over the place and i cant seem to find out just how safe my motor will be on this basemap. Preferrably looking from an answer from xenocron considering he did the basemap for this car. If anyone could explain to me if i will be in good shape please do. Also btw this is milanogissers old turbo gs-r.

its hard to say…most of my basemaps are created from stock maps and configured to your setup specs. i usually do them fairly rich for safety…

what i tell everyone is to get it tuned as soon as possible and if you have to rape on it a little…make sure you pay attention to what your motor tells you.

I’ve used this tune on both a T3super60 and a t304 57 trim with only mild changes (±5%)… but I wouldn’t have done it without a wideband.

WB Tune, stock B18a, precision SC34 57 trim turbo, DSM 450s, agressive timing in fuel in boost (251whp / 235tq) @ 13psi USE ONLY IN A PR4 ECU, NOT PM6!

Um…i have another question…i should have asked this before but, the basemap that you designed is for a b17 block instead of the jdm b16a block that im putting in it. I know the b16a has slightly higher compression and i was wondering how this would change my air fuel ratios. Could you give me an answer? Should i have you design another basemap?

Thanks,
Skyler

well the base map i got from xenocron was really good acourding to my tuner, on the bit too much on the rich side but other than that very good, from shawn automotive and testing

Thats good…i want to know how much the higher compression will make the afr differ.
