For everyone:
I’m not sure how much material Bill Gude adds or takes away from the chambers. This is one thing he will not tell me. It’s quite annoying because it kind of makes me look like an ass to some people, but Bill insists I’m running 11.0:1. Like I have said in the past, as soon as I find out, I will let everyone know, but I think that’s what he’s trying to avoid.

I know what my motor COULD do “unleased”. However, in my situation, I have to retain any bolt on’s that are smog legal and other little things. I hear whats being said about the exhuast, stand alone, fuel and intake, but… not on this car.

btw i checked my math real quick and it takes just under 38cc head chambers in order to get 11:1 compression. i think you better tell bill he’s a liar lol. stock pr4 head is 45cc. lol

Nope. I have had this setup for 4 years and have not been able to get consistent info on it. I know what you guys are saying…“WTF!?” Bill is REALLY old school and doesn’t like to give out his secrets. How good is he? I got 10 more hp out of my car after listening to him versus they guy running the dyno and it even idled better.
When I build the B20 block I’m going to demand that he lets me know whats up. I have clearance issues that require specs from him. Until then, the car hauls ass, runs great and pulls like crazy. I get a smile on my face EVERY time I start the car and hit the gas. Isn’t that what matters the most?

I ran from the cops once, got away for about oh…2 miles. Roadblock stopped me. I was the only one that ran and the rest of my “street racing” buddies were behind me being herded my direction. Long story short, they had all of us out on the curb, me first in line and every cop was looking in the windows of every car. All of them somehow missed the 2 ounces of dope sitting on the rear floor board in clear glass Kraft jars! They let me go, I went to court with a “Failure to yield to Emergency vehicle” fine, fought it and the cop never showed up. From that moment on, I decided thats as lucky as anyone can get, so NO MORE RUNNIN FROM THE COPS!

damn, dope is the same thing there as it is here right? cuz i mean i heard some ppl talk bout weed callin it dope, but here we reffer to hero as dope, well some ppl call coc dope too. w/e yo that car was hot man, he was really racing? or just driving fast? felt bad to see his parents like that but still not enough to stop me from racing. it’s the whole scene, i think im addicted or something. love seein ppl from 2 states all goin to 1 parkin lot for races. every time i left races w/o a cruiser chasin me i always got away. i mean i’ve had 2 cop cars within like 10ft of me and hopped the curb but since every1 followed and they had no plates they couldnt do much. it was cool tho me and 1 other car hopped the curb and the cops moved from where they were blockin the enterances to get us or whatever and the rest of the cars just hit it and left out the entrances and exits. i think there were 6 cop cars and 4 entrance/exits. thats the closest i’ve been. i mean i have had to hop curbs soooo many times but never any real damage or problems. i want to goto ca so badd but i cant cuz that is too long of a drive to do alone. i heard of multiple cases of gun shots breakin out from cars in nyc with the cops shooting back. crazy shit. nyc is crazy tho. cops will beat ur ass for wastin their time.

I’m about 98% sure that’s all it is. It’s pretty much the main reason that I haven’t sat down, done the math and actually figured out what the numbers are.
Bill is notorious for milling the hell out of heads. Lots of people strongly disagree with his methods of extracting power out of a motor. He must know what he’s doing cause the reliabilty factor on my setup is quite high for the numbers produced. I said it before and I’ll say it again… There really isn’t that much done to my motor. The basic necessities were addressed and maybe not even all of those. It’s enough to keep up with or one step ahead of most LS/Vtec setups and modified Vtec setups. I don’t beat em all, but I make em think twice about that $20,000 window sticker (GSR’s ITR’s, Si’s).
well i did the math…
if the head was shaved .040" (which is 1.01mm), you’d loose about 5cc from the chamber (this is approx)… which would set you at about 40cc chamber… i’ve talked to Omniman (used to work for Skunk2) and he says at .060" you’ll run into valve/piston clearance issues.
soooo, most likely the head was shaved, used high compression valves and welded the chambers to add material to up compression.
