Ok well i got a new oem bumper and it doesnt fit over the IC piping soo it requires minor modification…
have any of u guys had to mod the stocker if soooo post some pics
im prolly gunna have to cut away small vents in the 90 bumper on bottom of eiter side out…
90-91 bumper requires a lot of cutting and once it’s done it doesn’t look good. That’s why most of us switched to the 92-93 bumper.
I am lucky I have a 92…But yet still alot of cutting took place…All I basiclly have now for protection are the signal light parts of the Bumper Support Beam…The center had to be chopped off…This is what mine looked like with no bumper and how she looks now…Be safe and good luck…
hey, i had to cut the whole center section of the bumper support and a little big of the bumper from the inside where the black grill is, fitment is good now and my bumper doesn’t seem any more flimsy then it was before, it looks good and i like it cuase my intercooler is a little hard to see cuase i left the grill in the bumper but my intercooler still gets all the air it needs to do its job. heres a pic of the bumper on it. u can really see my intercooler unless ur far away or kneel down. hope this helps bye idk the pic upload aint workin now so i’ll send it later. bye
hey cool. But if my pic worked u can see i got my IC to work and with a fiberglass bumper i got it fits perfectly but, Its time to hide it and go back to sleeper mode,
I think the only part that contacts the bumper is one of the small vent thingys…
please post mroe pics and thanks again guys for the help
