I think the turbo is going out? any suggetions?

Hey guys, I am working on a friends car and he has a Pulsar GTI-R (journal bearing T-28)turbo on his car, Everytime he gets into boost it starts smoking. I was thinking that it is probably the seals in his turbo? any suggestions would be welcome since, I really dont wanna have his turbo rebuilt and it still smoke. BTW it looks like the smoke is coming from the center section.

Nevermind, I’m an asshole and I searched after I posted. If you have any suggetions I’m still open to them though.
