I’m not K-series expert, have zero clue about then aside from hearsay… it was my understanding that the engine harness was fiber optic? That would be less than amusing to try to get the engine to work without the correct way to interface an ECU with the engine.

Also we plan to do something wild later with it like switch it to rear wheel drive and put,for example,a r33 engine in it…or somethin along those lines. i was just wonderin would a k20 be ok for it now… but it seems u guys got a lil :ot:
ps: the thing about the r33 engine might not be what we do but its on the list. [/B]
wow…so I guess money is no object with you…good luck with your projects
well we have like 8 or 9 guys that are gonna work on this car…it’s my car and i’ll be spend most of the money but they owe me half the stuff goin into this car since i helped each of them by payin for like a 1/3 of each of there cars(body kits, intakes, exhaust, ect…)

Notec you’re a disgrace to the human race, kill yourself because you’re taking my oxygen.
Dave just ban the kid already. [/B]
Yah keep making your baseless snappy comments. You are indeed a typical dsm asshole. You cant hold a candle to my knowledge about how my car runs. So take your stupid comments, and haber with you back to the rest of the dumbasses on dsmtalk who pay $800 for a glorified t25, $100 for a piece of charge pipe, etc.
I still dont understand why you just wont shut me up with facts?

Isn’t notecLS the guy that wanted to run a turbo off of a DC Sports manifold? BTW, if that was you, how is that coming? I still think its a load of BS and where’s the pics?

No it was a kamikazi header. And it was “made for turbo because it is supposed to be used on supercharged cars” according to him.
Notec I’m sick of giving you facts. There is one fact that you need:
I never boosted on it cuz I was worried about ****ing up the seals on my turbo. Then I got a DSM manifold, re-drilled the bolt holes. But there was a alight exhaust leak at the head. So I cut off the flange, and welded on a b-series flange. But my welder didnt weld it good enuf and it cracked. So now i’m making my own manifold, almost finished. heres some pics of the manifodl i’m making:

I’ve got a silly question. Why didn’t you just buy a B-Series turbo manifold in the first place instead of all this dicking around?
So what was the grand total of a Kamikaze header, a DSM header + welding, and the parts for your new project? Not to mention the time and effort put in for, what, 6 months now? You could have just spent 300 bucks and been done with it a long time ago.
Originally posted by chsscott cheap doesn’t do you justice…i think ignorant would be a better term.
uh huh… i’m sure the kami manifold would have worked, i just didnt wanna risk it cuz its my daily driver. The DSM maifold would have lasted if i could find a competant welder to weld cast iron to mild steel. So then i just spent $100 on some 8 guage stainless steel and started welding my own…

I already had the kami b4 i decided to go turbo so thats basiclly free, the turbo flange was $25, i got a cracked dsm manifold for $20, the head flange was $50. I cut the turbo flange off of the kami, then cut the head flange off of the dsm manifold, and used them in my custom manifold after i grinded down the welds. So I lost $20 + my time, but it still came out to under $200 for a brand new manifold.
