well im putting my car back on the road with my new set up… i used to have a str8 T470 front/ 50/ar which was wayyyy to big and laggyy… although it was fun top end… i have a new t3/t4 set up i think it’s a 60 front and im positive its a .48 ar… my last turbo made 329 @ 19psi… just wondering what kind of power guys are making with a .48 ar… my redline is 7k… my motor is biult… pistons,rods,Block guard,mild port head, blox IM… here are some pics of my turbo…
Depends on tuning and how much boost are you running?
By the sounds of that, that was a small turbo. If it was infact a large turbo, msuta had a boost leak or something because those numbers are low for that psi on any medium sized turbo. New setup looks good tho. Got any straight vertical pics to see how far ot the trbo sticks out to where the OE rad was?

thanks xenocron those are the type of replies i was looking 4… im looking to make 350whp that’s my goal… and it looks like it’s doable… i basically want to run 20PSI and see what i get… i will be tuned on neptune… i was on uberdata my last set up…
with 19 lbs i think u should of made more
u have to understand i had a monster asss turbo that hit full boost at 6k and i redline 7k… it was a total mich mach for my car… i only had it because it was my 1st set up and i bought it from a friend not really knowing what the hell i was getting into…originally that turbo was used in a fully built B16 reving to 10k which obviously made more sense for him to have a turbo that big… but it was the complete oppisite for me… i did a 4th gear pull and i had to go way uppppp on boost to make power cause that turbo made it’s power from 6k and on… so for those of you who say i should have made more do a little reaserch and you’ll see that my scenario can happen… my new turbo is more appropriate for my car cause it will hit fill boost like 3k… at least giving me a full 3k-------7k in boost as aposed to be 4 where my turbo was only in full boost for like from 6k----7k---- and then i would have to switch to the next gear…
well even if the time spent at full bosot was only 1000rpm, you still shouldn’t have needed 19psi to make that power. somewher from 10-14 would ahve been suffice. Just because you have a small window of full boost time, does not mean you have to boost a whole lot more to make power. That’s why I was assuming you had a boost leak of some sort.
Or, show us the other scenarios like yours because I’ve seen alto of T4 dyno plots and they are maknig alot more power then you are at the same psi.

Like xenocron. I had the same turbo but .63AR on the hot side and made 300whp @ 13psi
o.k look 4 get it im not going to get into a big debate… there’s alot of reasons why i made 359@19psi the turbo is to blame and also my tuner… so lets juss 4 get about it… regarless on that set up i went 8-0 against every1 i ran around my streets including a cpl evo’s sti’s and srt4’s … but thats besides the point… like i said now im hoping to boost like 20 psi and hope to get 380’s or more because it’s a whole new set-up and im going to a very reputable tuner who tunes (tittan motors) 600whp civic and has tuned another 200 turbo hondas… so needles to say im hoping for a different outcome this time around and i’ll keep you guys updated when i get the car on the road in about 2weeks…

what trim compressor u runing on that t3/t4 cause i run a sixty and spool at 4k
my a.r. is .57
He already said 57 trim. And there is no such thing as a .57 A/R
i believe my comp is a sixty also… this tubo was on a friends gsr and he told me it was spooling pretty gast from 3k to 4k full boost so yours spooling at 4k sounds right considering it’s a .57 and mine is a .48
I made 464 @ 20psi.
wow thats great, can you say the specs on your turbo, and what set-up u have… wether your stock or built… and also… what was used to tune the car… those #'s are impressive… i hope to see an outcome like that myself… very nice
