how extensive is doing a itb setup in my da. i am doing a b16 swap and a bay shave/ wire tuck right now. is a obx itb good? what mods should i do to the motor before i put the motor in… any internals…
itb’s are for fully built motors, and no obx anything sucks you pay for what you get and their not just cones stuck on a throttle body
so how much you think i would be look at… like 5-7 grand??
the setup that i am going have built for my car is going to cost me $2000 but that is a completely custom built setup though. I am going with a company named Kinsler Fuel Injection they are a local company to me.
TWM is the only way to go honestly…
whats the point? baller status? is that what your into?
there are plenty of cars that loose power when itb’s are added, and alot of fully built engines become alot harder to tune when itb’s are thrown into the mix. why not take that 2 grand and save it for other items?
you have an individual runner per cylinder… thats a lot more efficient air wise.
For daily driving, yeah it might not be the smartest decision but if you want high HP and do alot of drag racing, I’d suggest it…
false-
i have itbs on my stock CTR… runs great.
OBx ITBs are great, just a little port matching and they are GOLDEN. Dyno proven, less than half the cost.
