Inline Fuel Pump Wiring and Hook Up

I need to know how to wire my MSD High Pressure Fuel Pump (PN 2225) I searched for awhile and found no solid information. The only information I found was on HT.

Pin 86- to the main relay uner the hood. If you have a helms manual you can find what pin.
Pin 87- Goes to your inline pumps positive(+).
Pin 85- chasis ground.(Make sure its a good ground on bare metal and not the painted metal.)
Pin 30- Goes to the (+) on your cars battery.
Note: make sure you have a good ground on the fuel pump too. This is very important.

The only information relevant to G2I that i have found is that the PGM-FI Main relay is under the dash next to the steering column. Is this the correct relay to use? How has everyone else wired up their inline pump? What would be considered a good grounding point?

Also - what would be a good solution for replacing all of the fuel lines under the hood with stainless steel braided lines? The service bolts going into the fuel filter and fuel rail are stuck onto the rubber hoses. Can I find these bolts aftermarket so I can run stainless lines to them, or does someone have another solution?

bump :hmm:

Direct Wired

Wireing should be the same. R&R the old to new pump. Only 2 wires Red & Black. What i did was direct wored my new fuel pump.
