Innovative Mounts?

To all who have these mounts I just wanted to know how there working out for you and if any of you used inserts before the innovative mounts?

The reason I ask is because I am a little tired of the vibrations and just wanted to know if these mounts were any softer than the inserts?

same here, i would like to know too.

I thought a lot of guys had these mounts but I guess I was mistaken.

i hate innovative. they are a horrible company. do some research on H-T and here.

i have had good luck with their mounts prices may be a bit high but theya re a fairly new company. the vibrations dont bother me but then again i think i do more racing then driving. rear mount really helped cut down on wheel hop of course oem was was completely torn. but to each their own

I have the these mounts in my 91 hatch and I fucking love them. I haev the 85a inserts and I’m not having any problems. Motor is stiff as shit.

Great mounts and great customer service:rockon:

I upgraded from inserts to the innovative mounts with the 60A, and to tell you the truth i didnt notice much of a difference. Now if you compared them to stock mounts then there would be a noticable difference in vibrations.

not at all in my case.

So do you think they allow more or less vibration through the chasis of the car?

I did and only really found one that had anything bad to say.The one I found was some guy from a shop that sent them a broken set of S2000 mounts and did not getting them back when he thought he should’ve based on a time frame for mounts they don’t even offer.

Kyle10182 do you have any personal experience with Innovative or are you just telling me of a friends bad experience with them?

what’s up Kyle. It’s Don from CC. I didn’t deal with them directly. I went through Robearracing.com. I didn’t have any problem. The only thing that I can say about them is that they suck with the shipping. My mounts had to come from Innovative and they said that they were going to overnight them to me and it took like 3-4 days. Other than that, it was all good.

Compared to the inserts I have to say more, but not very much. To me I barely noticed a difference.

if you are looking for mounts that will not make your car shake then go with oem honda. if you are looking for mounts for performance purposes get aftermarket like innovative.

i have PLENTY of personal experience with them. and i’ve done all of my friends swaps with them. but yea, i had them on two of my cars. hated them. and i hated dealing with the company when i had problems.

well they told me they would ship me a crossmember on the following friday. 3 months later they said they were still making it!!! and my buddy waited 3 weeks for h22 mounts. they said they would ship it the next day when he ordered it. so thats a personal experience and one from a friend. i did his swap and was right there when he ordered everything.

I went from broken mounts to Innovative mounts, so I don’t know about the inserts. I didn’t have any problem with the shipping or the company (just waited months for them to finally come out with the first aftermarket set of mounts since Place Racing).

im pretty sure Avid makes mounts for the DA.

My situation with the company sucked ass, but as far as there mounts go, I don’t know. even as bad as my experience with the company was, I still wanted to get there engine mounts because there wasn’t another company to go to at the time. now we have AVID.

You obviously missed the times when there were no aftermarket mounts and everyone was begging Hasport to make some (they said they would make the K-series DA mounts before they would make any replacement mounts, since they didn’t believe there was any market for them). Yeah, Avid makes some now (pretty sure they came out within the last year), but Innovative was the first to start making them since Place Racing went out of business. Avid is just jumping on the bandwagon now. You can actually buy some even cheaper knockoffs on eBay now for only $110.

It was almost 2 years ago when I bought mine from Innovative, and I waited several months from when they said they would be released (once they finally released them, they sold and shipped them like crazy).
