Installed injectors. Sitting Loose

How do i correct this? First of all, i bought these from a guy for $50 and he said that he didnt use the bottom ring that seat that sits in the IM cause he just threw some o-rings that fit the injectors( i think 3 or so per injector) and he said they worked fine. So basically when i installed them, i can pracitically turn them side to side so i dont think i put them in correctly OR i should be using those bottom rings that sit into the IM. Lemme know what could possibly be the problem and i’ll have a look at it. THanks in advanced

what injectors

wow i cant believe i forgot to post that info…

dsm 450’s blue tops

do u still have the seals in the manifold? if not then you need some

ok well i’ll just try what jdecks23 posted. i’ll try to make it work

boring it out alittle makes it fit nice and easy

Take off the hard plastic lower oring off

take your stock rubber orings and flip em inside out
now put a sanding drum inside the oring
turn on dremel at low speed and spin it on some 300grit sand paper
for alittle
keep doing it and checking it with the injector into manifold

then flip em back and put a dab of oil in

line all four injectors up and start bolting the nuts down
dont bolt all the nuts down at once do alittle on stud 1 then stud 3 then stud 2 ect

until all are seated

that should work

also u should be able to move it left right alittle, not alot tho
mine moved alittle and didnt leak

hth
im typing in the dark work with me here

there is no reason to bore or dremel anything you actually trust me… that makes it fit worse once it all in

just pull out the washer throw it away oil up the rubber seals and tighten up the rail making sure everything is seating how it suppose to works like a charm i promise

boring it little makes it seat easier

with just oil u risk damaging the seals,

but either way works
whatever works for the op right
